I understand this is not the crysis thread. However it falls under my previous post here as being a latest greatest that is a total failure. I just installed the demo, and I deleted it after my first death. The game is trash.

Yeah just played crysis demo not my cup of tea...game played well on everything set @ medium 1024x1200.

anywho back on topic..plese don't take offense to the cross hair thing. I mean along the lines that EA wouldn't look at the mod, and say..."no crosshair!"..and then want a bunch of changes..someone just looking at the game wouldn't asume it was uber realisitic. It knows how to balance everything correctly. It already has a following. I agree although a RO fan, hip shots look so unnatural..and I can hit someone up close pretty easy after years of playing...but the animations in RO has always been a lil bit on the shady side. No game can have it all.

This is for all of you who have not played the original Forgotten Hope for Battlefield 1942.....GO PLAY IT! If you want to know what FH2 will be akin to, it will be its older predecessor. It gets tiresome quickly when people come in here and start throwing random ideas with no idea what FH is like. =p

It seems like people are judging FH2 from screen shots and the few videos that are out there.

true, what lobo said earlier about the "hand-eye-nerve-coordination" with aiming the guns is still present, just a bit harder to reaquire the target, which is perfectly normal, it's impossible in the real world to fire and reaquire accuratly in under 2 seconds, it just isn't possible #500 baby!:):):moon::beer::beer::beer:

yeah if you can't stand the crosshair, just turn it off!! My monitor has a big dot on his center cause of PR's lack of crosshair  Anyway, no ammo indicator would be cool, even if the main individual guns will be five-shooters bolt-action rifles, so it would be easy to know of much remaining shots you have *€dit* I just missed my #400 and really, really don't care :p

Lobo;4002195are you saying it's realistic to loose the clue that a real person has about where he is aiming from the hip, clue because a human has a complex system connecting brain-eyes-neural receptors in the muscles, skin and articulations?

Yesss all connected to a large juicy brain.. slurp!
