So let me see if I got this straight.

The majority of the vehicles for the intial release has been completed. Therefore all that is left is still the bulk of the work (coding, maps, physics etc.).

So we can expect?:

Not that many weekly updates because you cannot really show coding elements within a game (to a point).

That it may get quiet around here because the hard work really is'nt all that flashy big news like models are.

That the vast army of modelers will be working on elements within the maps like buildings and static pieces to provide realistic enviroments...or begin working on models for other regions in WW2 for the next release.

That your target is x-mas so that FH2 can win MOTY '06 ...:naughty:

For me this is rather obvious but let's hope it will explai some things to the less patient people out there in the community. I wonder if they read past sentance one though. :p

Is it an option to give some progress updates? nothing special, just some minor info on how the little gaps are being filled up?

So why do things have to be cryptic?

Why not just say, Hey fellas we got all the models done for the first release were working on coding and maps and then it should be done.

jumjum;3374983Because the vast majority of FHers (who, since they're here, are pretty smart to begin with) know that the instant a few devs say to themselves, "Why the !#*@! are we doing this for those ungrtaeful little sods?", historically accurate WWII fps funtime is over. For-e-ver. So most of the wiser ones tread softly, and tend to worship the devs. But it's worth it...

Yes that too, but mostly the lobo worshipers or lobbyists! have a very low post count. They too will change over time, you know, ask a couple of questions about a Maus here, ask a couple questions about release date there... Then the hammer comes down they go away for awhile, then come back not tempting him...

Not all the models are done yet. In fact, there's still a lot to do. ;)
