Its a really difficult topic. But Realism all the way. The thing is some things that people think are realistic, might be a little unrealistic in a way. Its very deep I know. But those with some brains will understand it.
Ummm...like what? If you just say something like that and leave it, it's a bit hard to understand even for those of us who might if you chose to explain it.
keeeping the balance the way it is is fine. there is no map where i say "F THAT" and switch sides immediatly. So i think they did a great job with equiptment realism and gameplay balance. Even when your tanks are 100% inferior to the enemies. You can still use elevation/cover/surprise and my favorite MAIN TARDING to balance it out. some maps seem unblanced but really arnt. Alot of people say sector 318 is one sided towards axis because they have.... 3-4 panthers kt tiger 3jp's etc. But the allies get 2 mustangs/jumbo/m36 etc, balanced right? welllll the axis gets ostwinds, and ostwinds kill mustangs easier as hell, but wait! allies have quick tanks, oh now the ostwinds down, oh but wait the quick tank ran into the concealed infantry with the p-faust! if yall see what im getting at basically its simple, everything can own something and get owned by something. Its all a matter of tactics/skill.

Heres one example. Ironsights, while yes they could be more realistic if insterted properly. But it could be unrealistic in that you have a VERY restricted view, whereas in real life you can just tilt your head up a little bit. Or use your other eye. Because theres only one view in FPS games.
"whereas in real life you can just tilt your head up a little bit."
Yes, we call this unsighting. You can do it with ironsights. NEXT.
I think more or less what everyone else has already said was balls on.....Realism with the gear and balence with the maps.....Make the King Tiger the uber killing machine it is....And give the allies a ton of shermans to flank it with.
Ok, because the Kingtiger ISN'T a uber killing machine right now? Ok, we'll try something... Get as many of your friends as you can, 18 + you if possible. We'll SSM some large map and use *TRA*'s training server. There will be a Kingtiger and 19 Shermans. I will take the Kingtiger, and I bet my mother that I will beat the crap out of you all without losing any of my health (well, one of you might get lucky so I'll say I won't lose more than 1/5th). Interested? Probably not, but the point is that the KT can kill as much Shermans as it wants until it needs additional ammo. The things that can kill a Kingtiger in Western European maps : Planes. Tank destroyers (M10, M36 and Fireflies). Bazookas. Very little else can hope to kill a KT. Sure, its possible to kill a KT with a Sherman by hitting the roof, or with satchels if you place a few douzens, but these 3 things are the real tank killers. And boy, they DO kill fast, wich is very realistic. IRL, you wouldn't want to get an M36 put a shell in your KT's side. This is the same in FH.
Qban said it best. There are no "uber weapons" since you can counter everything with a particular weapon, wich itself is countered by another weapon. This was the same thing IRL, most of the time anyways (well unless we start talking about Manchuria 1945...).
So you guys wanna play a realistic game??? Why play battlefield then?? You die, and 10-15 sec later.....alive!
Anyway Dont make it to realistic I say. Balance is more fun and skills are more important
Next; elimination of nosecams. While I do somewhat support this. For it to be able to work, there needs to be some sort of control to move your head so you can look around with ease. Because in FH right now it would be unrealistic to make pilots fly without the nosecam. If cockpit views like FH will be in FH2 then it will be more unrealistic then realistic. Also, they would need bombsights.
Similar to the current setup should be fine.
And Charlie Sector pwns :D
