First question: Are the mappers going to make single player versions of their maps?

Second question: Will there be map scaling like in BF2 with each map having different sizes?

Third question: If the answer is yes to both previous questions will the single player maps be larger unlike the current BF2 maps where they only have 16 player sized maps for SP?

I don't know about question 1 and 3 but I'll give a shot at question 2. I thought there were no such thing as "map scaling" in BF2. The different mapsizes are just three different maps and nothing more. The whole "the map changes size after the numbers of players" was DICE devs going too far.

Yep, all the maps are exactly the same, the borders are just smaller when your playing with a smaller group of players.

Dunno about you, but i myself don't want to play on a map that's 4X4 Km and only has 2 players on it, searching hours for eachother ( without stuff like scan or UAV ).

These answers may change in the future:

a) Yes.

b) Yes.

c) It depends on the time navmesh generation takes, and how effective the result is. Some BF2 maps have no AI support (kubra dam, mashtuur city) because the navmesh system wasn't flexible enough to account for maps containing chokepoints on destroyable bridges. DICE said that generating navmeshes for large (32- and 64-player) maps takes them 5 days. With our looser schedule we might be able to fit this in.

It is also very possible to have up to 120 (or is it 125? I cant really remember) bots on a 16 player map. I have done it with 110 bots and it is VERY fun!

I belive that it is, but wasn't it a little laggy? Bf2 bots are very good, don't they need good CPU to count behaviours for such numbers?

Thanks for the answers. I prefer playing SP to MP in FH for BF1942 because it takes forever for the maps to load and more annoyingly it takes forever to the main menu to load, and in BF1942 whenever the map changes it forces you to load the main menu again. Since that no longer happens in BF2 I'll probaly play FH2 on MP more often but it would still be great if I could simply play SP when I don't want to deal with people.
