Im 100% sure bf3 will come to pc and it will use the same frostbite engine as for bf: bad company, altough they would be able to use even better graphics on the PC. Depending on a lot of factors engine support for: planes, tanks, boats, the engines moddability, number of players. Heightmaps seems to be no no problem since they are same playable area as in bf1942 and bf2. But without decent mod support and ability to include the most important things for the FH style gameplay, the FH team cant make use of it.

Heres a technical paper describing the frostbite engine: Frostbite Engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some screenshots of what the engine can do on next gen consoles: bf:bc screenshots | BFBC screenshots | Battlefield Bad Company screenshots | battlefield bad company pictures | bf bc pictures | bfbc images

Unless frostbite has more players than Crysis, there's no point. Otherwise there's always ArmA2 or OFP2 when they come out if you want more players and good graphics. But for now, why not just stick with BF2, it's a gooood thing.:nodding:

Ea and Dice did nothing but bend modders over the table...so why the HELL would ANYONE want to mod another battlefield game?

You'd have to be a damn fool......

It's even more than 100% sure that it will be for PC. That market has too big potential to just ignore it. They have an engine and almoast everything done so converting it to be playable on PC it's just a matter of time. The one thing might be different- it will probably be named BF3 instead of BF:BC.

Personally. and this is me talking from what ive seen, I think FH2 should move itself to 2142, for a couple of reasons. Yea its the same engine as BF2, but BF2142 like BFV was to BF1942 before it, has major fixes to the BF2 engine, such as the hitbox problem, doesnt happen in 2142, the problems presented with moving objects and characters standing on them was fixed to an extent, you can see that in the Titans, they move by the commanders orders and have people running around them while on the move. And Personally i think 2142 Performs much better on low end computers than BF2 does, and I love its kit system, where you choose what you want, would love to see that in FH2. Personally i think FH2 would be better on 2142.
