so guys what will be the uniform structure of FH2 will there be random skins available or will it still be 1 upper and 1 lower body on maps or will you implement the random skins feuture for FH2 . and will you ad all the existing armys to FH2, including canada, finland, france, italy, ausies.......etc.and also some german naval maps that would be great please guys post your comments

Hey Geoff, haven't seen you post here in a while. :)

As you might know, battlefield 2 already has different models for different classes and I'm sure Forgotten Hope will also have this. Perhaps then random skins are also an option, but I'm not too sure about that. I think that in BF2 each class has their own face, so no random skins there, but we'll see.

About all armies, I'm sure that hasn't been decided yet. But we'll see later.

If there were members of the FH team from a particular country (for example, New Zealand), would it be more likely for that country to be included in the mod?

i think the only reasion we the Aussies were put in was because so many people wanting them in and the first rule is the comsumer is always right!!!

It's "The customer is always right" but since the Developers behind Forgotten Hope arent making a profit then that would make no sense at all.

Basically, it's my understanding that the Devs add countries in order of how they choose or see fit. I know for one that certain countries are only added because of a certain Dev's love of their arsenal, be it tanks, planes or firearms.

I mean, look at Forgotten Hope back before 0.5 was released. At the beginning it was only intended for early war content to be produced, but because the Devs wanted to see such and such a vehicle in the mod they decided to throw in the whole country too. I think America were only introduced because one of the Devs (taking my bets on Lobo here) liked their fighters so much. So that's pretty much one of the main reasons Forgotten Hope stretches out as much as it does.

Wrong answer, aussies are in FH because I think they look really macho with that fancy Indiana hat, so I decided to work in that project, like subbo created the finns or montoya the polish, with help from the rest of the team of course, but sometimes a new army is created because one dev has a special interest in that. Sometimes the consumer is wrong, I am even receiving mails to include the damn Maus and read my lips: over my dead corpse, if one mate models the Maus I leave the mod :lol:

NoCoolOnesLeft is right, we included americans because in the first times of the mod mange and I joined and we are fanatic of their planes, so we were annoying the rest of mates till we got the americans in the mod.

The aussies were created purely because the Australian government contacted the FH team, they proposed that in exchange for 25 crates of xxxx FH would include the aussies.

Maybe it was that the Australian government found those Nvidia cards that Subbo ran off with when he dissapeared. So in return they wanted the Australians in a map. ;)
