Are there anymore finnish maps except for Karelia and Tali-Ihantala?

I really like the Winter war/continuation war but there are like only 2 maps of them and only 1 is COOP supported. :S

Any other finnish maps out there?

There is a map called "Vuoksi" but it's rather pain to find tbh. I'd advise anyone who likes/dislikes tali-ihantala that the map is not accurate to landscape wise... It's rather bizarre fantasy map...

There is, on the other hand, Forgotten Honor tournament Edge of Twilight which includes finnish wars aswell... So if you want more finnish maps, play the tournament. I am working on a map for them about the real deal tali-ihantala battle and it will hopefully be the one of the key maps of the whole tournament...

Also, I have planned to release a Campaign of Tali-Ihantala mappack which includes loads of maps of different battles of this huge event. Maps that move forward on a realistic timeline and stays as true to the history as possible. Made with maps and aerial photos so the landscape is pretty damn accurate. The mappack would include one map which is used for many different maps from different locations.

Example: You can have a map where the finns defend and russians attack, and then the next battle in history would be the finnish counterattack during night, so the map would be changed to night, the battlefield would be even more scarred and there would be dead bodies lying around as they died in a map before.

No release date or anything set yet, but if you want a taster or just pure awesome teamplay and good ol' FH fun, join Forgotten Honor.

---

Theres something planned for FH2 aswell btw... ;)

can't wait for the edge of twilight stuff to become public, i'm working 35 hrs/week now at a new job and am going to school full time so i sadly can't join it this time, but hopefully i either get fired or quit sometime soon. The pacific campaign was a blast in FHT6, i wish i could do this new one.

After reading up on the fins, i'm craving more of their maps for FH/FH2. Seriously, they have the best snipers, go against the craziest odds, and i'm pretty sure they had the most decorated pilot, or at least the most airborne kills. Correct me if i'm wrong. Either way, Fins are badass.

well stylie, to clear the fog from your consciousness alittle.. FH1 and FH2 are not the same, in fact they have nothing to do with eachother, and people dont produce nor play just one or the other... Our Finnish front project is a massive production, and at this very moment, FH2 can not make this... why? because that mod is a few thousand hours behind in production on that theatre.. sure, Finland will be in FH2 (and will be amazing!) but the Edge of Twilight maps will be well enough for anyone who wants to experience the War in Finland.. By the looks of it, the finnish theatre for FH1 will be included in future releases of FHSW, as we are cooperating with them.. FH2 is not replacing FH1, its just adding... but this Ive said so many times without people understanding it so I dont know why I do it again, any time someone mentions something for FH1, the clown pops put from the box with the same silly question "why not fh2?".

I might add this to my signature; FH2 and FH1 are two separate products - they will be played and produced parallell - FH2 is not replacing FH1 and they will both be developed and expanded for a long time to come. Whenver all the theatres and all the armies, models, maps, weapons, effects and sounds have been made for FH2 (sometime in 2010 perhaps) that's when we can start talking about a "replacement", that's when FH1 is obsolete.. at the moment FH1 is 80% of "Forgotten Hope", FH2 is 20% You dont choose one or the other, you enjoy both products.

Is that clear enough?

A perfect onomatopoeia-ization. Many have done the thumps before, but no one has ever produced a good cymbal crash. I now have a model which I will steal for years to come. Bravo!

hehe, well Flippy Warbears and our finnish section will be more of a history lesson than "maps", as his (our) goal is to present the complete war in Finland for Forgotten Hope... This being in both mods, FH and FH2, starting with the Edge of Twilight campaign which will be around 10-12 maps, many of which might be transfered into FH2... It is not a small project, but it is an important one, and there are many people that would like to see Finland as a main ingredient in Forgotten Hope, not just one map as it was in FH1.

the 7th december there is a new movie coming out about Tali-Ihanthala: Tali-Ihantala 1944 (2007)

I havent looked forward to many movies as much as I look forward to this one, I just hope it comes to swedish theatres!
