Since I'm still at work (for another hour and a half), and no one has started a thread yet, post your impressions of 0.7 you lucky dogs, and let the rest of us drool...
I have not played all the maps, but it looks nice.
The new vehicles are very good looking. he Kits are much better now, not to mention that the PanzerIII is in, which makes me happy. Of the new maps I would say that Pegasus is very interesting, while Pavlov does get confusing sometimes...
I think this is one of the best releases so far, and its definately worth a try.
Anyway, as I said, it takes more time to go over all the maps, see all the changes. So whatever replies you will get on this thread treat them with care, since probably not many have managed to check out all the new stuff and changes.

Most of us have been around here long enough to take "reviews" with a grain of salt, but your point is valid nonetheless. I'm just looking for a few tidbits to tide me over until I can get into it myself.

Seems ok sofar,except Pavlov.
Bad things about FH .7 A) new different handling for small arms B) locked vehicles/at guns C) knife is way to easy to use D) unrealistic line in main bases that kills enemies E) tanks are very inaccurate F) No knifes for mgs G) SdKfz 7 takes 3-4 tank rounds to destroy it H) SdKfz 222 takes 2 tank rounds to destroy it I) No ppsh41 on Berlin Streets
sorry to say but have not found a single improvment but quite a few on the negative side (maps like pavlovs, the fact that the bazooka has no sights anymore, you have to guess when the aim is right) to bad i just returned from BF2 and found FH fun , but now... well i dont know anymore /Nag

OK, my feedback after a good few hours of gaming.
Generally this is the best release ever but in its greatness, there are things that I will be missing a lot.
Maps Feedback; A load of new maps reaching from Stalingrad's famous Pavlov's house to the Reich's end in Berlin Streets. The maps look great and how I saw it now, they seem to play well too. Berlin Streets gotta be the best and my personal favorite of the bunch. It just captures it all at once. I love it. Pegasus is really intense and In The Hell of Bocage can be a real pain in the ass in a good way when your being ambushed. Ramelle Neuville is still one of my favorite FH maps ever, and with the Sturm, its even better.
As I said, there are few things that caught my attenttion and one is concerning the maps. Why to keep Bocage, old Midway and other old vanilla maps that has been totally remade with FH galore? I am sick and tired of seeing then coming back to normal map rotations as the new maps been played in the servers for day after day, every day. I do not want to sound like a whiney bitch but I just like the FH maps and cant be arsed to play when I see Market Garden on Hslan, TDP or FtN Bravo every time I refresh ASE.
Oh, I hate that Charlie Sector is still a gimp-map.

OK, so, we got a big bunch of PanzerIII's now on almost every map, which is great. Gotta love that tank even tho I never had an urge to have it in the mod, but now its there, I am thankful.
Italian equipment from weapons to vehicles are very interesting. I gotta love the italians in general. Always liked to play as them in Road To Rome. Shame we arent seeing more official Italian maps in FH42 versions. Anyways, italian tanks and weapons seem cool, I havent had the chance to see them in such big action yet because only Tobruk match I played ended up real quick. As a side note, I like the australians even they feel a bit odd if you ask me.
Suomi and BT42 are nice to have, even tho I do think it was a waste of a GOOD map to not include Vuoksi. Suomi seems a bit weird for some reason, even tho, I love to have it in the mod. Sound for the Suomi is terrible. I mean it, its just... horrible.
Weapon sounds been improved or they have been made worse, due the Merciless happenings in the past. Its a shame they had to remove some of the best sounds and put in the vanilla ones. Like the explosion sounds. :(
All in all, 0.7 was worth the wait and I hope to see a lot of players playing it while waiting for Forgotten Hope 2. I was supposed to post a bit bigger feedback post but I am too tempted to go and have a few rounds of 0.7 right now. Thanks.
