Comrade0RedI think idealy we should have a system similar to RO. Let's say there's five Germans at a white flag and four Americans. Then the Germans would get the flag. However if there were Five Germans and one American, the Germans would get the flag even faster. Commanders count as two people too, since they "Raise Morale."
Isn't it already like that? I believe that was implimented in 'Nam so I assume its in BF2, it was put in to keep one dope from hiding in a random building preventing a base from being captured. Whichever side has the superior numbers pushes the flag capture in their favor. And personally I liked flags that were located in buildings or as in Dragon Valley like the temple or the court yard, forcing players to get out of their vehicles and fight man to man.
What if those 5 leave and 1's left its white.Maybe make it u need this many poeple to cap but the number varies to how many ppl are int hte sever
I hate the vietnam and BF2 flag system. It means that a loaded jeep or blackhawk can pull up next to the flag and cap it before the defenders get a chance to kill it. Not realistic. Nobody took posession of an important point while enemies still surrounded them. The system give no incentive to clear out a base. I think FH should retain the 1942 system, it works well and gives defenders time to actually defend!
I hated the BF42 system, there'd always be some guy hiding under a basket in some far off corner in some far off house that you'd never be able to find and would prevent the capture of that base. This was most frustrating when every base but 1 was captured and he was the only guy left. Maybe make it so superior numbers can push the capture in their favor but at no faster a speed?
I know, when i was in the orginal Berlin i hid in a corner to white a flag.
