Beast of WarIt would be rather a pitty if it can be taken out, as i had quitte some laughs at the sight of one of my handgrnades or artillery shells sending a few enemies flying with hands and legs waving....

Agree %110 percent. Sure, every once in a blue moon someone can whip out a Faust and get off a very lucky shot, but since the removal of Chutes from every class exc. pilot I hardly see this happen anymore. Besides...there have been plenty of times that I shoot my tank gun next to a person, and due to the shitty HE characteristics it doesnt kill him even though it lands 2 feet away from him. However, he ends up flying thru the air, and dies on impact with the ground. In fact I see this often. So he just ends up dying a different way from what SHOULD have killed him, but didnt due to game mechanics.

'[11PzGmatyast']The German infantry often said: More or less from Erhard Raus:

"When the Tigers appeared on the battlefield, the T34s took off their hats"...

So usually the T34 turret was blown high, by the shell hitting the part between the turret and the body.

I agree with you about flying tanks, but sometimes the ammunition explosion blowed the turret sky high.

I know but right now all the tanks when destroyed bounce around.....

I think the height a soldier should be thrown up should be limited, small leap with a nade and large one with a bomb or artillery. It is realy true in artillery bombardments that soldiers were flung several metres from where they were originally standing minus a few limbs... :barf:

People do not fly straight up(especially from grenades) like it is now if that is what you are getting at. They fly sideways if anything and if they do go up only a few meters. If you want some real pictures I will get some screenshots of people in CSS.

And in the first picture the guy is jumping into the trench afaik.
