Are we going to see more strike of Karkand esque maps?

Or more open battle maps like el elamein?

I cant wait to blow a panzer thats strolling around a narrow street with my piat.

Also will the italians be in?

Of all the desert maps Desert Rose has been my favorite so far. I don't know exactly why. Maybe because It has the under dogs(Matildas, Stuarts) going up against the Tiger. But it's just a great map. I would also like to see more cramped maps and from the looks of the last update, they'll deliever!

We have both now, why wouldn't it be in FH2.

I like the architecture in a map like sector318 (but in a desert set): there are open spaces where tanks can fight, but there is a town where the infantry is feared. You can go in with your tank, but fear the ATs who are hiding in buildings and shooting you at the top. If you are an anfantryplayer, you can have fun defending the two flag in town. If you are a tanker you have fun capturing the 2 outposts. Aberdeen would be such a map if the town was a bit bigger. If a tank placed itselfs on a hill, he can easly hit 90% of the houses where anfantry is spawning. So If there were such more houses, the tanks wouldn't be raping at the houses. And if they drove in, they have to face ATs.

I suppose we'll see a mix. For example, I'm sure we'll some huge tank battle maps with wide desert plains, a mixture of open spaces and closed spaces (Maybe Tobruk) and city maps (El Aghelia, Tunis, maybe Tobruk). Let's just wait and see.

As for PIATs in the desert - that's a big no, no. I beleive the PIAT first saw service in Sicily or Italy - can't remember which though.

And hopefully we'll see the Italians in at some time, if Montoya can make the already great looking 0.7 Valentine into that, I'm sure he'll be able to 'pimp' up his Italians vehicles as well :).

The towns in FH1 don't feel like towns sadly. There are a few exceptions, Foy, Ramelle Neuville, but the supposed 'towns' in maps like sector 318 or desert rose etc never really felt like 'towns' to me, just a clump of bf1942 buildings. Hopefully things will change drastically for FH2.

I love karkand for fh2 so I'd like to see more house to house/street fighting in the first release, but then again it is the desert... Ramell Neuville and Foy are great examples of well done FH towns. Ramelle is one of my favorites (unfortunately till a tiger and infantry starts american bleed by camping bridge)

I'd also like to see more enterable buildings for FH2, especially with maps like FH1's sector 318. The towns should also be bigger than small settlements. Like karkand, again, the best bf2 map in my opinion.
