Flippy Warbear;4431857You make it sound like the scandies wasnt a deal of any sort. :uhm:
After I finished my text I came up with Greece and Scandinavia. And come on, Scandinavia wasn't a big deal. Except for Finland not much happened there. Maybe some naval battles but.. no. Finland was real fighting but Norway and Denmark and Sweden, who was neutral anyways, didn't do that much..
Battle for Narvik?
The Norwegian campaign saw some pretty heavy fighting, but remember a large portion of the Allied work was from the Allied expeditionary forces from the United Kingdom and France, and a Polish contingent. Perhaps a battle for Narvik map could be done using already existing British or French forces in the future incorporating land and sea aspects.
Perhaps a land-based Narvik battle would be the ideal "Allied cooperation" map with British, French, and Polish troops reminiscent of the French-British effort in FH1's Counterattack.
cant wait for Normandy
