the Germans are almost doomed, knightsbridge is almost undefendable, the British got 3 grants and 5 honeys(one from knightsbridge) bunch of AT guns on 150th, the Germans tanks got blew up by AP rounds, trucks got sniped by AT rifles, only hope is that kubelwagon thing... a Honey would hunt all down.
i mean, should the british armoured force be nerfed a little bit? such as change 1 honey and 1 grant into crusader Is.
i am not saying the Panzer IIIJs are weak but it's not easy to beat a grant head-on.
and how many times experience playing it is that opinion based?
I've never known Gazala to be consistently unfair imo, perhaps daunting for one team depending on how they play, but not down to the terrain they play on. e.g. have you ever noticed how a great team of Allies on Seige of Tobruk playing as infantry with 6x 2lber guns can hold the line against all those tanks and artillery? Yet come to the same map on another day and the Axis are so formidable you find yourslef trapped inside Tobruk Outskirts for half the round...
He is specifically talking about the 32 player version. Can't say I have noticed the imbalance, but I also can't remember when I last played that version :P
I have not played the 32p version for a long time so i cant comment. Most of the effort was directed towards the 64 and 16p versions, also this map is very hard to make a good 32p version of. I did change it slightly to make it better for germans in 32p but maybe the new grant spoils it. Anyway unless people have started playing the lower number player maps in a much larger degree i will probably not change this. Not worth the effort, imho all our work with the smaller maps was the biggest waste of time ever since no one plays them.

That is absolutely not true. Maybe hslan doesn't have them in rotation because they are almost always full, but like Invictus said, we at 130th use them to get the server up (Though the server has been down for weeks now), and I believe wolf has a code that automatically puts the small versions on when there are few players. Hell, I just palyed 3 rounds there this morning, all on the 16 palyer versions. Not to mention that the small maps get used a lot by clans, because they they/we can't get enough people together for the 64 versions.
So whatever you do, don't stop making these smaller versions, please. Only thing that I might suggest is that try not to make them infantry only all the time. For example, some of the desert maps could have been made into tank only maps, with flags in the desert, and tons of tanks spawning in the main. (Sort of like rheuneburg from FH1 in the desert).
As you can see the 16 and 32 versions are a source of frustration for our mappers, due the lack of love of community and servers to them, but well, each mapper is free, personally I enjoy a lot to design them and test them with our betatesters, so I will keep doing them

Yes please. There are sometimes that I find that the 32 and 16p versions of these maps are better than the 64... Yes maybe hslan doesn't have them in rotation because there full 24/7... but I have to tell you, when I hop on wolf at 1 or 2 in the morning on the east coast, and they're playing Sidi Regzeh 16p version, I just love the teamwork that comes with playing on a server with only 16ppl on it. Then you don't get all the noobs and vehicle whores that you usually find on hslan in the middle of the day. Like the 130th guys said. We find alot of use for these smaller maps. And I can speak for some ppl when I say that I gleen alot of pleasure out of playing them thanks guys
