'LIGHTNING [NL']Most maps they are on, panzerfausts, bazooka's and piats weren't used / invented yet. The early anti-tank weapons are crap, yes, just like they were in real life.

At least in winterwar when tanks weren´t so big yet, antitank-grenades molotov cocktails, and logs worked properly against soviet tanks:D ...

Why do you always dodge questions like these? If you make a map and the only anti-tank weapon available to you is the gebault-whatever, you're going to need to use it against tanks. Whenever someone says something is weak against something else, you always just brush off their question with garbage like that.

What the hell threat is posed by trucks? Little, compared to a tank with armor, machine guns and a big explosive cannon. In most situations, anyway.

The geballte ladung is a buggy piece of crap. Its only value is for the 'wow' factor in the first few days or weeks after a release; it is of no real value for gameplay. This is a trend not limited to the geballte ladung, either.

That's not a very nice way to request a clarification. Describing the The Gaballte Ladung as a super-grenade is pretty accurate. It is basically the heads of a bunch of regular antipersonnel handgrenades wired together to form one big charge. It will not be very effective against a heavy armored vehicle since it is a pure HE charge, but will damage light and medium armored vehicles and blow away softskinned vehicles completely. It was not historically created to be an antitank weapon, but was used against tanks when nothing better was available, much like a satchel charge, which was not, strictly speaking, an anti-tank weapon either. I haven't had the opportunity to chuck it at many tanks yet, but its sure works great against infantry.

Well, what do you expect? In early war, there were no reliable AT weapons for infantry, and in that situation the germans have to deal with tanks armoured nearly as good as a Tiger. AT rifles won't scratch the paint, so the only choice is to get close and personal. That for, you can use either satchels or Geballte Ladung. Satchels deal more damage, but they require you to get very close, while the Geb Ladung can be trown from some distance.

Is it the same thing with the Brit Thermos bombs? I throw them and see and hear nothing, but when I throw one at my feet, I die. It dosent seem to damage enemy tanks either, I've tried throwing it from a window onto the top of a Panzer II and it didn't seem to do damage.
