I have just recently noticed that the tickets on Gold Beach seem to be heavily against the Allies. The Allies with quite a few tickets less than the Axis AND they have the bleed going against them. I was just wondering if this will be fixed in 0.65.

I usually see allies win on Gold, once they penetrate the first line of defence, the axis are dead very quick...unless someone uses that stupid bunker bug....

Tickets need to really be changed on some maps.

Double bleed on Crete? What the hell is that?

Its hard enough for axis to get a flag to begin with, and even when they do its still bleeding. The map should be like wake, bleed untill they capture a flag.

Same goes for saipan. No bleed even when the axis have all the flags? Whats going on there?

Omaha: Should have no bleed at the beginiing, then if axis take that side flag it starts to bleed allies. Once a flag is taken, no bleed for anyone, thus forcing the axis to push the allies back into the sea.

The British need to start with an advantage in tickets because of the bleed and the fact that they need to cap 2 or 3 flags to stop it. Also, the fact that the only way to force a bleed on the Germans is to cap the back flag doesn't help the Allies any...

Double bleed on Crete? What the hell is that?

In Crete, each point have some different importance to allies and axis.

Maleme (airfield) is the most important flag in Crete.

the double bleed is a nice feature to this map.

Germans commonly lose Crete due to ticket bleed, they aren't playing any worse than the allies, it's just they have to cap a lot of flags (or the aerodrome is worth a lot, yes, but few people know or act on this) either they need way more tickets or one/two flag to stop bleed. The double bleed is NOT a nice feature of this map; it causes the axis to have to rush their planned assault. A single bleed would be just fine to get their arses in gear. Gold Beach is an easy allied victory, unless they stall from getting the first flag. It's wrong that they bleed until they get the back flag, it should be double drain until it stops after the first two and the axis should bleed only when they have only the backflag. Saipan is broken with axis holding all and no bleed, yes. P.S. my personal strategy for Ju-52 flying on Crete, drop the first load at the North Meleme Bay and the second load on the Aerodrome to the south. This means the drop that really matters happens on the most worthwhile flag bleed-wise and after the allies have all scampered up to the North flag to defend my decoy drop.

Gold Beach needs serious work on the tickets and the flag radius. The second everyone has spawned in and is ready, the allies are very unlikely to take that first flag. They have to weed out up to 32 Germans from all over the huge flag radius, which, even if they get most of them, is right next to their respawn point, while the Brits have to walk up from the beach every time they die. Simple maths suggests that the British are rarely going to take that flag, especially now after people now how the map plays out, and everyone has a favourite hidey-hole to keep it grey the whole match.

Recently, the only way I've seen the map last longer than ten minutes is people sneaking round the back, which is the only practical way to stop the bleed, but obviously not what the devs had in mind. Hell, I've even let people round the back when I've played Axis, because I didn't want the map to end. It's a great map, but it's spoiled by such a severe bleed that it's often over far too soon. Some work on that would really be appreciated.

I love Gold Beach as it is, and giving the Brithish the needed amount of tickets would just make it better! I think perhaps the ticket values got reversed or something.

I wish there was a way to stop british driving trucks to the rear flag. Honstly, crete would be a very enjoyable map if it was one flag take stops the ticket bleed.

That or return it to its former glory before the design was raped.
