Yeah well I suggested a mechanism of allowing the "commander" of a multi-player vehicle to "lock" the vehicle while he's inside it, so that a driver or others could not enter when he did not want them to. That was mainly geared at the idea of multi-player tanks, but would fix the arty problem. That, or an ejector seat...although admit it, -36 is so far beyond "bad" that it's "good" again... :-)

i hate people who get in the driver's seat of your artillery vehicle, honestly! what are they thinking?

I vaguely remember some talk about having 1-person mobile arty and/or a lock of occupied mobile arty, as if it were a done deal....but for 0.7. Did I have the wrong version, is it supposed to be for FH2, or did I just dream the whole thing up? Hmmm, better take another 10mg hydrocodone; that'll help my memory, I'm sure.
So far my experiences in 0.7 have showed me, at least in the Wespe, that if someone is in the gunner seat nobody can even get in the driver seat. Useful, though annoying on Desert Rose when you need to sink the Juno and a guy won't let you in.
On Iwo Jima i jump into a betty that was taking off and get in the okha, after i get it to launch I fly towards the landing beach and see a LCT comming in with 2 shermans both firing MG's at me. I burn off all my gas to hit the thing at full speed and to dodge the MG fire and the 20mm fire form the LCT. I plant the okha right into the first sherman and I get 1 kill for the tank driver and of course die my self. Well I am not sure what happened but the entire LCT is destroyed and the one tank driver I killed somehow got a TK for Everyone on the LCT and is instantly kicked. I felt sorry for him but I got a good laugh out of it.
I sneak behind a enemy tank, put a 10sec satchel on the tank and feel very happy about it. 1sec later I get killed, and autoteam switch me over to the other team. THEN the satchel goes of and I get a Tk instead of a kill :(
