I've really been watching a lot of these Fh2 server admins. I've come to the conclusion that so many of them simply do not know how to administer a server. Now, I'm not calling out servers, or people. I'm just posting this because it annoys me. And I mean no offense.

Every time I've been on 'anonymous' servers with around 5-10 people, its a large map. For instance, El Alamein-64. When an admin gets on he/she simply refuses to change the map. Saying the current map size is fine, and no need to change. Its like they are to lazy to actually carry out the place of an admin.

Whats with this? Why were admins always willing to grant the players requests in Fh1, changing the map to say Pegasus, or Ramelle Neuville when the map was on Gazala?

Admins, I'm not saying to be a sucker into the players requests. That wouldn't work either. But when the majority of the people want to play a smaller map/version of current map you really should change it. People get so tired of driving across the desert without ever seeing the opposition.

Some of you would say the easy solution is to just play on a server with 50-64 people. Believe it or not, many people don't enjoy that. And to speak for myself, I can't anyway cause all the servers like that are deep in Europe causing an extreme amount of lag.

I just think if the admins would play more so the roll of a Police Officer ( a public servant that serves the public, but will crack down on rule breakers ) it could help out the Fh2 server population.

I like big maps, hate small maps, I'd rather play 64 player El al with 10 people then 16 player with 10 people.

Where the hell are all the north american servers anyways, all I see is fricken Hslan. I R WANT 40 PING.

But to the OP, I agree. I hate those cupcakes, like I remember on FH1, I forget the map, but that stupid poland one, theres only 15 people, and the admin doesn't change it to a smaller map, and just says "Its a good map, just wait for it to rotate" *1 hour later everyone leaves + admin*

How the hell does the admin expect to have populated servers if they're playing 5v5 on 64 man servers, then they turn around and go "Lolz man y is not no one join? IT MUST BE FH FAULT OMG WAFFLES FREAKIN DESERT."

Exactly. Even with 2 players on a 64 player map I manage to ram the other guy.

I know you normally do find where the enemy is in a small battle on a large map. Once you figure out where they are focusing their units. Its just.. annoying.

Werner I love you.

Tacticalgamer's POE2 and FH2 servers have a script running that will switch map sizes up or down, depending on server activity. I really think they should share the love (and code) with mod teams, but that's just my opinion.

POE2 had a release recently and some of the veterans on TG's server were happy to see the 64 sized maps again, because the server was almost at capacity.
