If you're in a Sherman 105 in FH Bulge, you'd better make sure you kill from ambush or indirectly, or make a first-shot kill if you are face-to-face with any other German tank in Bulge. If not, your opponent will certainly get 2 shots on you, and maybe three (if necessary), before you get off your second 105. If you are discovered in a Sherman 105 you're almost certainly dead, no question.

The Sherman Jumbo on the other hand can outslug virtually anything else face-to-face. Even a Tiger II usually takes at least three shots to front armor to kill the Jumbo.

i barely drive sherman jumbo, but i used to own with shermans in those gazala maps..., of course without a good stuka pilot lol.

in most maps shermans win by camping, being heroic means ... well, death

sherman fireflies are terrifying in market garden, no death from above worries, and easily kills anything if you got enough covers, most of my deaths are due to enemy jeep fausters or sneaky panzerfausts, of course, don't go too close to a enemy tank lol, shoot them with they just come in range :p killed a bunch of tigers in front.

Yeah I remember playing Operation Market Garden and finally getting a Tiger only to be hit by some lousy stinking Firefly sniper who hit me and left me with 2% health while crossing the bridge. He hit me again and killed me before I could even get shot off.

On OMG, if you put the FireFly in the correct position, it deflects EVERYTHING.

But its armor is meh. If you survive a single hit from the 75s on the Pz IVHs or StuGs, you must immediately repair or die on the second. Of course, the Tiger's 88, or a plunging shot from the Wespe, is death in the F'fly.
