Nope. The Sound and Texutre pack was for FH 0.7 (for BF1942). Bratwurst did a sound pack for FH 2.0 but he's a dev now so he doesn't need to do add-on packs to include his sounds.

But we still can have one from people who are not devs then right? Anyone up for it? :D

Personally I have changed the Stuka dive sound, but would be nice to also have historical textures as well.

As the devs co-opt the free-lancers (it's a joke guys, lighten up ;) ), we need to develop fresh independent talent, much as Brat was before he signed on formally with the mod. Guys, any sound genii out there? Remember Cheese's texture talents as well - does he need to be replaced too?

But, isn't e.g. the Thompson sound which is ingame now the "vanilla FH2" sound, didn't his soundpack have another one?

Yes, that's correct. I never really like the Thompson sound so I changed it to the one from his soundpack.

DenniZ-nl;4719981How did you do that? I really dislike the current thompson sound too :)

Step one: Download this .rar file containing the two Thompson M1928 sound files from Bratwurst's soundpack. Link: thompson1928.rar - FileFront.com

Step two: Unpack the files on your desktop

Step three: In your FH2 folder (Usually C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\fh2) you will find a .zip file called "objects_weapons_client.zip". Make a copy of this file, just in case.

Step four: If you have WinRAR just double-click the "objects_weapons_client.zip" file and you will see a folder called Weapons.

Now go through the folders: Weapons > Handheld > thompsonm1928 > Sounds

Here you will see 4 files called: Thompson_1p.wav Thompson_3p.wav Thompson_deploy_1p3p.wav Thompson_reload_1p3p.wav

The first two are the ones you want to change. Simply drag and drop the Bratwurst sound files that you downloaded into this folder, and the old ones will be replaced.

Done. Go play FH2 with new Thompson sounds.

Removal: If you made a copy of the original file, you just have to rename the "Copy of objects_weapons_client.zip" into "objects_weapons_client.zip".

(I made this extra detailed in case more people want to try this out.)
