Biiviz;4823580Slightly off-topic: I see that the hslan server is busiest from 7 pm to 1 am, what time zone would this be in?
Fairly certain it tailors to your timezone. It tells you how far you are from the server, so I think it finds your location from your IP or something, then calculates how far you are from the server's IP. If it can do that, it should be able to find your Timezone and change it's graphs accordingly.
By the way, I use that site to check on the servers before I even boot up FH2. Because the FH2 Toolbox can be finicky.
Link to show all FH2 Servers, sorted by Population:
EDIT: Game monitor tells me that hsLAN is most populated between 1pm and 7pm. And I'm GMT -5. If you're GMT +1, and it tells you that it's most populated between 7pm and 1am; it fits perfectly that the site corrects for the timezone of whoever views it.
1pm to 7pm? that`s a shitty time to play.
edit: I live 262km away from the server.
Herr Ober, die Rechnung bitte

Me about 280km. I thought you were from northern germany.
Nope, northern Hesse, at the shores of the Edersee (known from Call oF Duty 1 ;))
Happy Joy for you guys. I live 6469 km / 4020 miles from hsLAN. Stupid 120 ping...
In contrast, I live 2139 km / 1329 miles from the WaW servers, which gives me a ping of 50-60. I live 274 km / 170 miles from WOLF, which gives me a ping less than 20 there.
Wonder where I prefer to play?

Actually GMT+2, but whatever. I live 1692 km / 1052 miles from the server, haven't played FH in a couple of months but I think the ping was usually good. The FH toolbox has some kind of anti-lag system too, iirc.
...wtf. Now the charts say it's most populated between 7 am and 1 pm.
Natty Wallo;4823566 Anyway congrats to PR... If you look at the hard reality, they deserve this win more than FH2 in 2008, more players, bigger releases etc... also we should be happy that a BF2 mod is #1.. it opens up the "market" for BF2 mods and that's something we gain from... Let's see what 2009 can do for FH2
Thank you - looking forward to seeing FH² in the Top 3 next year! :)
Can FH2 still be voted in future MODDB awards ? 2010 ? 2011 ? and onwards ?
as far as I understand it, yes it is possible for FH2 to be reconsidered in future ModDB awards. From what I gather, PR went through enough development in 2008 to warrant its' inclusion in the 2009 awards. One could assume that Normandy will be enough for the FH2 team to be included for next years consideration.
