Right now I have cable internet and it is great. See below pic. :nodding: I am moving and will have to go with dsl. What speed do I need to have to play at my usual great level. I have a reputation to keep.

I'm fine (no lag) with a 512kb broadband connection even when there are two of us using it to play FH at the same time (4 computers sharing this one connection). Hopefully it's gonna be upgraded soon though...

I have 1mb DSL and it works just fine. There might be a difference in leading or something you have to get used to, I don't know. But it is very consistent for me.

I am perfectly okay with my 1600 / 512 Kbit/s connection. Besides the speed to price ratio is better for ADSL then for Cable here atleast. Only the most expensive cable connection pwns ADSL in speed anyway. It all depends on your location though, for us we were better of with getting ADSL so we did. smilie.gif

BF needs like 7kB/s maximum uploading but I don't know about downlaoding.. So it depends on quality, but any ADSL is fine, but ISDN not.. When I had old connection, I got always higher pings, disconnects, connection problems, but I changed ISP and now it's perfect.

My 1Mb broadband handles it fine, it used to be 512kb/s but even that was enough.

It really depends on your location, cable broadband is know for its frequent issues here and when there are a lot of cable users in your neigbourhood your connection will worsen dramatically. ADSL provides a constand download/upload speed so you won't face many suprises with it. It really depends on your location what is better for you. Only the third version of cable (using the DOCSIS system pretty much elimates this huge flaw in cable connections). True under ideal conditions right now you would be better of with Cable, though the fastest adsl connection available is just inches away from surpassing the most expensive cable connection.
