I've found a good strategy for saying good-bye to any form of a Tiger is to simply turn your mouse right or left so you are facing the opposite direction, and hold W down as hard as you can.

lol uncle sam thats a good technique. I killed a kt with a typhoon plane one time. I shot 4-5 rockets at its rear top and blew it sky high. Im not really sure how many hit but i know i got the kill. The typhoon really kicks any tanks ass.

King Tiger armor is THE thickest, hardest armor of WW2, aside from battleships and a prototype Maus tank then reportedly never saw combat, though there's some controversy over that. Bazookas won't scratch the back or side armor of the KT. Aim for the top. The top is the weak point. Failing that, try to hit underneath the tank. It's also pretty weak there. Ex Packs are bugged I think, I put 4 on the engine compartment of a Tiger and blew them up, and it didn't even smoke. That's a definite tiger weak point. Enginieers kind of got the shaft in .6, hopefully some more useful toys for close range anti tank will be avalible in the future.

Maybe it was, but everyone should have realised that infantry AT would do bugger all to a KT unless you hit it in one specific sweet spot, not just the usual 'blast it in the ass' approach from Vanilla. Sorry if I got pissed off, I had a bad headache at the time, and I've been reading n00bish posts all day... (different forum)

expacks were nerfed harcore, and should only realy be used against crippled tanks, or specific tanks. After playing for a while, you figure out which tanks can die from xpacks. All latewar german tanks take very little damage from them.

Luckily, the satchel charge will be replaceing those stupid blocks of cardboard in a future release.

I'm sure those will have a nasty effect to most tanks (but require more skill and timeing to use)

Has anyone tried taking out the king with an IL-2 or IS-2? Strength in numbers not the size of your tank. On battle of the bulge i like to see people try to hit a king tiger with a sherman. I laugh then i put a shell through it and watch whoever was in that tank bitch because the sherman didnt destroy it.

I think what 0.6 is trying to convey is that Tanks are the best weapon against tanks! Sure Airpower and arty is ok, but people have to realize that unless you're behind a Pak or in a building or trench with a panzerfaust, you had best avoid them and let your tanks do the work.

uhh airpower sucks against tanks in FH. its almost impossible to kill a tank with only mg fire.
