Go for the engine deck, rear or tracks. You can take even the heaviest tanks out if you manage to hit the from above - Klim Voroshilov takes about 2-3 shots and Tiger around the same for example when using PTRD.

Arisakaeven the PzB35 (p) has a rof. of 6 rpm. i suspect that reloading the magazine is also taken into account, though.

6rpm makes average 10 seconds between the shots... we alre lower than that in FH including mag reload

'[KsRSideWinder']Acctually Tiger's can be destroyed with about 3 hits with the PTRD on the top armour. Great tactic for maps like Orel when you can scale tall buildings and fire down on them. The other, more suicidal way is, provided the tiger has no infantry cover, jump up on top of it and fire down. This can be done with any AT weapon, shaped charged projectiles will generally kill almost any armour in 1 hit from the top. Bear in mind you will be thrown 50 feet into the air if you do destroy it.

How is it possible that you can shot through the top of an Armour? To fire an ATR must the gunner be laying down with the mounted rifle infront of him. The recoil is to heavy to be fired standing, or the gunner will break his shoulder and is unable to fire any gun until after a couple of weeks. To fire from a roof should be impossible as well. Either will the angle to the top armour be too step (<80°) when laying down, or the gunner must stand up to reach an adequate angle for penetration (≥80°). Any shot with an too flat angle should just bounce off the armour with a "tzing" or "plonk" sound. Then do I not understand how "three" ATR rounds can kill a Tiger. Are you sure it wasn't your last shot that killed the Tiger? Either do the shot penetrate the armour and kill a crewmember, or damage a vital part of the vehicle, or the round bounce off the armour. There is no accumilating power in an ATR round. Right? Is the vehicles in FH built on Hit Points? Please say it isn't so. :( I was told FH was about realism. Is that not true?

ATR's don't have to be fired from prone. They SHOULD be, but they don't have to be.

Lone_SoldierIsnt a bit strange the anti tank rifle take so long to relaod. I meen when i play game like call of duty the soviet anti tank rifle reload quickly and have a fin rate of fire. I dont know much about anti tank rifle so i could be wrong. aslo if and anti tank rifle is really that power full... wat are the chance that u wont hurt u self when u stand up or lay down. It basly like a mini tank gun.

No I doubt they are as powerful as they are on Call of Duty, its pretty comical where they just blow up from one shot of this gun really. Steer well clear of that and stick to FH :D and should only be allowed to fire while you are prone due to the horrific kick back of them As for hurting yourself with the rifle + its recoil see my post here Sorry for the length of the thread but I had a lot to say. I think it really is criminal that they were allowed to send men into combat with such crap weapons. I mean 21mm of armour....wtf is that? A car door? I realise there may nto have been an equivalent that was better, or a good alternative, but still it's horrendous to think that men died un-neccessarily because their AT rifle is so crap and they might as well spit at a Panzer IV or something like that.

ATR was built to match the post WWI tanks, and they was constructed from the needs of pre-WWII anti-tank doctrins. These doctrins was proved to be wrong during the battle of France (May 1940). The ATR was only useful againt armoured cars and light tanks like the Pz II. But since a ATR was a high velocity weapon was it also very useful as a sniper gun on long distances >1000 meter. :) Droopyman, do you mean they can be as "in FH", or they can be in as "in real life"? I would really like to shake the hands of a guy who just have fired an ATR standing and is able to don't scream when I press his hand. LMAO! Read Agent Oranges link above where he refers to a discussion he had with his grandfather about ATRs, and what the recoil did to people that has properly mounted the ATR. Thanks for your post there Agent. A very good read (I haven't read all yet, but I will ;) ).

FrederfTake the Stug for example: the sides and top are WAAAY weaker than the rear.

The top of the Stug 3G can be penetrated by Staghound ... Once a Staghound behind me damaged me so fast I was dead before turning around (was very confused at the first moment, didn't know where it came from). :uhoh:
