Well for me it started in 2003 when I was a merge Obsh in the 21st Panzer Division for Bf 1942. I had played Bf 1942 before joining 21st Panzer & then quit bf1942. I then got my first pc of my own. Installed FH, Ventrilo & the other programs. I returned to BF 1942 & played for another few months before a guy called stuka started posting about a mod called FH. I was like this is so dumb. How are we going to get members? Then I played the mod. I switched to the Panzer Bn in 21st Panzer because the tanks were uber great. I loved the Panzer IVH & the ability to fire straight, I played away for another few months & 21st blew up & died but I kept playing coz fh was just that good. For 3 & ½ more years actually. Also you devs took a long ass time on .6  The current wait is giving me flashbacks :bawl:

During my time I was asking on the bf1942files forums if there's anything about secret weapons or vehicles that were in service. That one guy in the forum guided me to the FH mod saying they're throwing everything in that mod.

I stumbled in on the homepage by mistake while looking for porn.

Nah, I had bought BF1942 and got sick of it after a year or so and looked into the modding community. Found one with more realism, more overall stuff to play with and seemed to favor the German success in the early war. We all know the Germans had kewl stuff.

It happened when i started exploring this forum.I noticed this place and i saw how many ppl were viewing this place, so i checked it out.I checked out the homepage and google FH and read that it was a mod that was about reality and teamwork and of course WWII.And now im here.I also started playing FH because i got tired of COD and how ppl just run around killing each other and not doing any teamwork.

I was on bf42files.filefront.com when i saw an update to FH 0.6. Curious as i was, i went looking for more information And then downloaded it. When i started to play it i sucked but played until the BF2 release. Then, getting bored of BF2 (only 2 weeks later or so)i said 'let's see how FH is doing' And having flown lots of superfast jets, i saw myself getting better at flying and next better at long range riflefights, which are still my 2 specialities.

Funny, that actually did happen for me.

At the time I was searching for ''Naked Polish Soldier women'' and it directed me to some images of Polish maps for Forgotten Hope.
