I was looking at the latest update and realized that the devs seem to be doint the earliest maps and vehicles last, having done all the later ones first. When the team starts releasing parts of FH2, maybe you could do it in peices like this: The first release would have a few of the earliest maps and all the veicles needed for the maps. the second release would have a few of the maps coming after and the vehicles for those maps...and so on and so forth. you could decide the number of maps in each release judging by the number of vehicles you want to release (or have ported already). Doing this would give a "work timeline" to follow and would represent the progress of the war. It would also mean only having to redo a few maps and simple early vehicles, and work at your own pace, allowing a quik release of the mod, grabing the first crowd of players. What do you guys think?...

No, FH2 must be developed with a very clear and simple organization, remember we must replace ALL the BF42 content, included player models and voice commands. We can't release one map of Poland vs. Germany, and another one USA vs. Japan, and so on.

I don't think that's what he's suggesting LObo. What I got was that you guys should lump your priorities according to the war's timeline.

We are working out plans that will allow us to make a solid first release at the earliest possible date, and then build logically upon it. It is a little premature to announce anything specific right now, though, since our final plans will depend partly what we find when BF2 actually ships.

I am not asking a release date here, for i know its probably impossible to know right now when it will be finished, and even if you would know you would not tell me, but approximatively, how many months will we have to wait after the release of BF2? (i do not want an exact number, something like "approximatively 3 months", for example).

Are you building all the latest models for BF2 and then dumbing them down to work with 1942? I know the PoE mod is doing that, it seems to be a good system.
