If I get TK'd in a FH game, and the server admin isn't there, can I come here and post my complaints? I would include the Gits' Punkbuster ID, IP and who their computer is registed to, and a screenshot of what happends. Just so you don't have any quibble with my integrity. I've come to the end of my tether with the lamer TKers!

Nothing can really be done by posting it here. If you have a problem with one server, just try another. :uhm:

It's nothing really to complain about if it's only one incident. But if this is a mass tk'er who goes unopposed then report him to the admin upon a future visit. Why would FH have any control over its servers?

It's not just 1 mass murderer, it's been happening alot recently on many servers. Obviously it ruins my game , and as my time is so precious due to my line of work , I can't wait around for Admin's to appear. I assumed that most Admins would have some link to these forums - I don't think that's such a wild idea!

Well being as it is a reent release, there are going to be a few newbies. But if the mod bores them, eventually they'll leave. If they like it, eventually they'll get the hang of the etiquette used in FH servers. It's all a big cycle.

No, you can't post your complaints here, this is the Forgotten Hope forum and Forgotten Hope can't help it that it's played by idiots. Instead, you'll have better luck with the server admins at their forums. Being a server admin myself, I find it to be no exception to kick 3 or 4 people a night when the server is full. Kind of sad really...

I am just wondering what means you will be using to get the player's IP ... :uhoh: , and their computer registration?

I guess the good servers have their own forums, some do, just watch the server messages for a possible link while playing, or google the afiliate clan/communty to find out what their site is if they have one, most of them have a forum for these sort of things.

Watch "Posting and You". You don't wanna look dumb by asking a question that was answered in a sticky, do you?

If you get TKed (on purpose, always make sure it wasn't just an accident), open up console by pressing ` (it's right next to the "1"), then typing in "ptk" (without the quotation marks), press ENTER, then press ` to close the console. If you did it right, it will mean that it will take 100 seconds for the guy who tked you to respawn, and if he tkes enough and you keep typing ptk (one per tk), I believe PB will auto-boot him. Even if it doesn't, if it takes him 100 seconds to spawn each time he dies, he will rather leave the game soon, or won't be around much to hassle you. :)
