First off, I love to play Forgotten Hope, it's just simply awesome but I have gone back to playing FH1 as the North Africa Campaign just doesn't hold my interest. Every once in a while I'll jump in and play FH2. Lately I've noticed that only around 70-90 players will be online playing FH2 worldwide (using the FH2 browser-at this moment only 66) and I have seen a lot of familiar nic's playing FH1 on the TDP server. (sadly the last populated FH1 server that I can find) When the mod first came out there were close to 1,000 players on line, those numbers have obviously dropped considerably. My concern would be that the developers would lose interest in working on the European Theatre of Operations (ETO) or the Eastern Front with so few actually playing the mod. I'm not at all bashing FH2, it's an amazing mod and I'm very anxious for the ETO to be released, but am concerned that there won't be many around to play it when the time comes. Any thoughts?

We also need to consider the fact that they are not getting paid for making the mod, its theirs own will to do it so we cant tell them to hurry up the deadline is coming. And yeah true, stuck in desert... Devs need to get their asses going with updating us with news about the next maps.

Desert is great. I personally havent lost the interest towards FH2. Its a great mod and I can see myself playing it for long in the future aswell. But I admit, I do want to see some green aswell.

The only real problem I see with FH2 is that it was made for BF2. The BF2 community doesn't like mods for some reason and at BF2's modding peak there was only about 5% of the actual BF2 playnig population that played mods. Most people are to distracted with ranking up to be interested in playing for...I don't know....fun....

Theres only about one reasonably successful mod for BF2, and thats PR, everyone in a while large mods like FH2, PoE, etc get spurts of players but you will never see hundreds and hundreds of people playing almost all mods out there as per the 1942 days. Its sad but thats the way it goes, di(EA)ce never wanted mods for there game anyway, neither does the community I guess.....

The desert war had grown on me actually. I just hope FH2 will not be abandoned, i doubt it will but I've worried about it sometimes none the less.

I think the FH devs have actuallly decided to work on all theaters at once. Given that we've seen proof of the "next" theater being Pacific, it's surprising that the devs didn't go for one that would be more compatible with N.A. (Italy, Eastern Front) I think it'll draw in lots of players if this is true as well.

Pacific ? no sry. to the rest well you cannot compare fh2 to fh1 . i can say allways again. we have not 20 maps made from dice. i will say it here again: we have not enough hands to make you guys happy. and if we will not have more hands in the future its possible that we never go to a third Theatre.
