I just spent a hour on Wolf getting spawn camped on Gazala by Germans coming into the Brit mainbase and stealing our tanks and aircraft and shooting Allied vehicles and planes taking off.

What is so frigging hard about locking vehicles? Are people scared its gonna take away all the fun for the smacktards? If there are not enough of your own teams vehicles at your teams base for your team members to use then maybe you should add more.

And I see kamikazing is still in fashion. Didnt Wolf used to frown upon such behavior?

Its really easy, just change the usable by team value to the team number you want using the equipment.

1. looks like a wolf server problem...post at wolf, not here. 2. technically, locking vehicles must be done by the map maker (or slight serverside modifications). It is possible to do it, the ships for instance has this by default.

Yes I think locking vehicles would be good, except for APC's, trucks and jeeps of course. Everything else should be locked. The only problem would then be when you cap a enemy flag, you have to blow up all the tanks that spawn there before you can get tanks you can actually use.

I've noticed germans often have captured Churchills, they shouldn't be at gazala to begin with

My idea to stop Base raping at main bases that cant be capped, is to set up a base perimeter of AT and AP mines that only go off when the enemy goes over them, thus instantly killing any enemy who trys to enter the main base, this would also stop the theft of vehicles from main bases. I also think this is realistic as this would be the way main bases would be defended in real life, apart from of course actual gaurds with guns could we not have it so that bots gaurded main bases aswell as the mine idea?

Maybe they just had no admins on, it does look like you were playing at a bit of an odd time, if you had just finished playing when you posted. Every time I play on WOLF, people try stupid stuff, they get warned, then either do it again and get kicked, or smarten up. But I'm usually on there between 11am-11pm weekends, and 6pm-11pm weeknights (EST) Kamikazing is harder to catch. For one, you and the offender may be the only witnesses, and for another, it's not always intentional. I've never seen anyone get booted for being a bad pilot :D

my suggestions

only lock vehicles at main bases.

or

use the "anti-base camping" kills in main bases.

Vehicles really should be locked out... I too have felt the pain of being camped and raped to death by "friendly" vehicles that someone was either to stupid to kill when it was near death, or was stolen from the main base.\

About waiting for vehicles to spawn after a flag being captured. I would say decrease the time for the tanks to respawn, then when they do, make them tanks of the former flag holders team, but reskinned to make them look truly captured.

Example... Prohorkovka. When the Germans capture the farm house near the grove of trees, T-34s should still spawn there, but with German markings.

After all, the use of captured vehicles was heavy throughout the war, just look at the Ardennes campaign to see how many Shermans the Germans used. Hans von Luck's armoured column consisted of several Panzers and also a handful of Shermans with German markings.
