Im currently downloading it(26.6kb/s). It was gonna take 17hrs. Down to 9 now. Is it worth that massive dl?
Get a better mirror, and yes its worth it.

If you have never played Forgotten Hope before, it is quite worth the wait. If you are simply upgrading, only you can make that decision. Read some of the posts here and you may get an idea of what the majority thinks.
Yes, dont listen to anyone else who says otherwise. The FH Devs have hit a new high in modding quality. Nothing is better than having a 46 person match with planes flying overhead, tanks everywhere and explosions without chop or lag. The new sounds and vehicles are just gravy.
Not first time player. and that mirrors fine. thats my top speed :o
Ill keep it going then :D

yes dont listen to people with a differing opinion, they're just idiots! A lot of people bring up good criticism of the mod, and I think its a welcome change from the constant brown nosing of "OMG I CREAMED MY PANTS" usually in threads. How will the devs improve if no one tells them what needs improving? Without doing that, you get "improvements" like the knife's decrease in range and damage.
If you own any of the below: a) 56k connection. b) Less than 512mb Ram c) Less than 128mb Video Card d) Less than 1.5ghz Processor No, it isnt. Youll lag like a mo'fo... I got a Gforce3Ti200Pro@128, 512DDR, and an AMD AthalonXP 1700+ @ 1.5Ghz and its lagging me like a bitch. I can manage with that, but if you have anything less than I do, I feel sorry for you brother.
I have a 1.4 ghz proc, and only recently upgraded from a 64 mb geforce3 card. I was always able to play with OK framerates, as long as I didn't jack the settings up too high. Having a bit of extra RAM is definitely recommended, however, and I can't see how playing any contemporary FPS with a modem is going to be easy. Download it and find out for your self. It's free.
^ Hese right. By the way STF, what settings do you use? Is your resolution set to 800x600x16?
