I had an idea that might be suitable to improve FH and the Battle Isle map:

- Remove all weapons from the japanese suicide bomber. -

Most players on the japanese side spawn as suiciders and the jap team always loses...because of that. They take away more tickets than they gain, by blowing themselves up and not taking many allied soldiers. Another problem is that they never seem to be interested in taking flags...so, the jap team gets wiped.

I'm sure the japanese wouldnt send suicide bombers armed with rifles. They would die anyway and why waste a precious amount of ammo and weapons? Besides, they would need that extra incentive - no other option left.

Removing all weapons and leaving them with just the bomb would be a good option, to discourage all the ticket bleed and ensuring they would be used only as a last resource.

In real life they had weapons and ammunition, they blew themselves up in acts of defiance or desperation. If people aren't going to use them like that, nothing can really be done about it while maintaining realism. :uhm:

I was wondering how long it would take for a Suicide bomber rant to surface. Honestly, nothing is more fun on the pacific maps then to bust that pack out in the middle of an allied spawn and click the mouse. A personal favorite of mine is when i was surrounded and I pulled it out and all the americans turned and ran. So basically, it's fun as hell, don't take it out and don't take their weapons.

Oh yea, I'm yet to see the japs lose there.

You misunderstand - he's not complaining that, as an American, his team is losing because of suicide bombers - he's complaining that, as a Japanese, his team is losing because everyone is blowing themselves up, subtracting tickets and not capturing points.

I havent seen the japs loose because of this, really its no big deal.

Yeah me too. Everytime i play this map, the japs have almost all flags by the end. You know why? Cause to use the suicide kit you need to get close to a lot of infantry; and to get close to a lot of infantry, you need to get to the flag; and when you get to the flag, guess what? the flag turns :rolleyes: . Unlike the cowardish unhonorable americans that just hide in between trees with thier Springfields.

The japs are not doomed to loose, this map is nicely balanced in my opinion, unless you are playing on a server for people below the mental age of 12 you shouldnt have every jap blowing himself up ovr and over again. Try another server.
