lol...I actually wouldnt mind seeing an ability to give negative points to players who dont do anything but camp...

but as a question, was Ramelle Nueville based off of Saving Private Ryan?

i like the map as wel, whil beta testing it was great! the amounth of teamwork you can do in that map is inpresive, peaple realy work together to take out tanks, altough some public game i didnt like, N24reporter and i hade some weart games, like 30 man who wher just camping on the second flag... jus standing ther in hauses, whe used a pz3 and a good sniper rifle to kill them all.... ranking 1ste so whe stoped becose the wher to meny noobs! but yeah the map looks and plays inpresive.

was Ramelle Nueville based off of Saving Private Ryan?

it was thought, if you look good it got some parts that look like in the movie ;)

The Germans can still camp.. If the germans cap the first two flags and take the bridge flag, they dont need to go further.. The american tickets start to bleed and they can just sit back and camp.. The trick is not to let em capture the first flags.. Hell of Bocage, now that can be really nasty for allies.. (serverside option) *Tags Activated* bad bad.. for Allies.. How fun is it when you try to sneak and some prick in a Panter scans the bushes for tags, its really stupid to get kill this way... Thats why I sometimes like the Wolf server more (even when I got a 100 ping) No tags at medium and longer ranges.. (only at close like 5-10m) Now why cant euro servers turn off tags..Where is the realism in tags?... and dont worry about more TKs.. players will learn to use the mini map, nobody wants minus points .. IRL ww2 friendly fire did happen often... so just say sorry and no biggie .. like in that movie Stalingrad, where that gerrman guy shot his own by mistake.. Remove the unrealistic *input noob word* tags..

Plus its much harder to spot a sniper when there are no tags.. If you scan for tags its not that hard to take down a enemy sniper using any bolt/semi rifle..

Yeh its funny how often I get tk'ed in servers like TDP and hslan even they got long tag distances. People got the bloody minimap there, and they can just scan for the tag color and they still 'cause loads of tk's on my bill. I always look first, than being trigger happy and shoot everything that still moves a bit.

Yeah, good point--I also agree strongly with whoever said that Allies should not bleed if the bridge is captured. However, it should then be easier for the Germans to capture the North side of the river (for example, change something about the top right Allied spawn, whatever.)

Hell of Bocage, now that can be really nasty for allies.. (serverside option) *Tags Activated* bad bad.. for Allies..

Agreed. I'd never seen Allies win that map until recently, against a really bad German team. There are just too many open areas. I'd recommend re-designing some of the hedgerows a bit to give a bit more cover to infantry advancing.

Hell of Bocage has quite a few flaws. Only two real exits from the allied main springs to mind. And one of those is made worse by... fences. Tiny fences are all over this map, blocking tanks. It's amusing to see a a 46ton tank destroyer forced to go around a tiny wooden fence. It's a case of German tanks cruise in, get taken out by lone rambos with bazookas in hedges. And eventually the Americans lose all their flags. And then the map is more or less over since the panzers move up to cover both bridges leading to the allied spawn. It's one of those FH maps that just plays the same way, every time. Doesn't stop the map being fun at times, but it's frustrating loading a map knowing the outcome is virtually decided.

As for Ramelle-Neuville. It also can be fun, but I've never seen a close game on it. Either the Germans never get the first flag, or they do. And every time I've seen the Germans cap the first flag they've gone on to win. Perhaps this is just my experiences, and others have seen different outcomes?

I wonder if it's possible to make fences passable by tanks but solid to infantry. This would be a solution to the 46 ton tank being stopped by a small wooden fence without having to have the whole destroyable statics etc thing...
