Stauffenberg was actually complaining once about the fact the M36 driver can get shot out too easily. But still, don't become the guy who always wants German Tanks to be way better than they really were Stauffenberg.

The Devs worked their asses of to combine historical accuracy with great gameplay, accept that the allied tanks sometimes had pretty dangerous guns and that no matter how much armor you stick on a tank it will still have weak spots. I for one love the Su-76, we also had a Su-100 in the bfe minimod and that thing owned on prokharovka, kt down with two sideshots.

No, the gun is not overpowered at all. It is using better ammo now. Judging by the performance, probably APHE or HVAP.

Doesnt that equal it being overpowered? I thought all FH tanks used the worst ammo.

Sorry to go off-topic, but that just made me think... If the Devs wanted to take it that far, they could make tanks in FH2 have accurate shell loadouts that would vary to the year, or even a specific situation. Imagine, a panzer column on the east front, low on supplies and lacking the tungsten core AP shells they need to take out the swarms of T-34's (if that's historicly accurate). Or a situation where you're in a Panther, you have a few of the great and lots of the not-so-great AP rounds available, do you use the good ones right away, or do you save them in case you meet larger prey? Might end up being too much work, but would be pretty cool.
