i think the only thing that makes the infantry realism goes really bad is the fact of the weapons in the hand of the soldier (with exception of sniper and grenade and rocket launcher) have frozen aim while holding even heavy weapons like the rifle and machine guns. I guess the aim should only be really frozen (or almost frozen) when using supports for the gun, supporting it under the ground, or in any possible place while coaching or on-foot. This is a real simple problem but makes the infantry of the game so unreal, I guess many of you should understand what I'm saying.. I'm asking if you know any mini-mod or something that corrects this problem? I also suggest that the next versions of Forgotten Hope, or Forgotten Hope 2 remembers that, since this isn't a catastrofic problem and can probably be fixed without any matter. I've already played BF2, and I don't believe they didn't think of that while making the game, the aim with all weapons.. (INCLUDING THE SNIPERS!) is frozen, this give a real bad feeling.. unnecesserally..

I think he means no weapon sway. FH is finished, but, according to the stickeys, weapon sway is going to be in FH2. I personally hope that they will sway a LOT.
You probably know what I mean.. when your holding most weapon in BF games, the aim indicator gets static, it doesn't move from side to side, giving the impression you're supporting the weapon.. being Forgotten Hope realistic as it is, they should not forget to fix this problem, this should give a really better feeling while playing with infantry.. You know.. when you hold a sniper rifle, the aim start to bounce from side to side, this should be with all ranged weapons in the game, if the sniper rifle bounces, why not the simple rifle (that is always the same model without lens) bounces too? Actually, while standing up, without any support, you can hit a target from absurd distances in a matter of fractions of seconds, but weapons don't get fixed aim just holding them, try to take a binoculars and fix it aim in any distance place, you can't... Now you undestand me?

Yep Hell Ranger.. you got it! It's a simple solution for a so boring problem, that totally cuts infantry fun.. cool! FH2 will have it! Finally.. perfect infantry, perfect armory, perfect air forces! That's why I love BF.. the entire war in a single game! cooool.. the definite and best game ever!
He probably means crosshair should be like that of "Brother in arms" , the crosshair moves on the screen instead of staying steady in the middle.
But, ModernSoul, you should know crosshair in FH2 does no help to you for aiming a target, it's only for indicating where your gun points to. Without aiming by iron sight, you are not able to hit a target far away.

The weapon will sway while you are moving in any way, that goes without saying. First of all, even with all the arcadish features in BF2, you still cant aim or fire while sprinting. Secondly think about it a bit. Take a gun, and look down the sights, it will sway quite a lot even when you are standing still. Now, start "running normally", and make your own conclusions. What I hope that even when standing still, the weapon will sway similarly to Brothers in Arms game, maybe not as much but enough to make the aiming hard. This will benefit the gameplay IMO, for example you cant take out mgs by just sniping them with regular rifles.

zju_wangyi, the real problem for me isn't the fact of the crosshair get steady in the middle of the screen, it can be really in the middle, since it's only indicating where the guns is pointing to, as you say. I'm refering only to the fact this crosshair (in BF42, FH1 and BF2) gets stactic all the time.. i believe the Entire screen should move from side to side, since the middle of the screen is where the guns points to. I don't really want it to be like Brothers in Arms, that would really confuse the aiming for me.. I think it should be like America's Army (the better infantry game for me.. more a simulator than a game), and you should can support supporting weapons in places like tables and bunker windows like in this game, so the weapon in this case could have reduced swaying...
The gun wont be pointing to exactly to the center of the screen, more info on this in the stickyies. I don't think its possible to make the screen move from side to side, but I'm not too sure. Making the guns sway less while next to windows or stuff like that can't be done, it has been discussed
