IMO, the balance issues are pretty much fixed in this release. Tweaking remains but one thing really bothers me. Engineers and Ex-packs.

The only thing about them that seems ludicrous is that an engineer can setup, arm, and detonate an expack in about ohh..... 1 sec or less. Plus he can toss them about like candies.

Secondly, an engineer can place enough explosive to blast a Tiger to Hades and back and be standing only 5 -10 feet from the tank when it explodes, yet he is un-scratched and takes no damage.

This is of course NOT realistic at all.

The setting up, arming and detonating in a sec is one thing, but the blast damage radius should be such that if anyone is anywhere near the thing when it goes off, they are blown to bits, including the engineer.

It's insane that an engineer can blow up a 70 ton tank and be within 100 feet of the tank and survive. That's nuts.

Expacks were planted AHEAD of time by engineers and then they retreated to a safe distance so they could detonate them and live. They didn't toss them around like grenades and blow them up while standing a few feet away from them and we all know this to be a fact.

Lengthen the time it takes to arm and detonate them so people won't be tossing them around like grenades and increase the blast radius to a more realistic distance.

If people are squeemish about increasing the blast radius, maybe decrease the strength to compensate.

As im sure everyone knows, I dispise xpacks with a passion, for prety much those reasons.

I'm prety sure that xpacks will be replaced with timed satchel charges (prety prety sure) in which case, problem solved.

Agreed on expacks. Yay for satchel charges (and hopefully sticky bombs)...

I'd like to see, instead of the anti-vehicle mines, anti-personnel mines that would explode, but not really harm vehicles (except perhaps light vehicles).

Um, enginieers shouldn't have pistols. They have a rifle already and I think the class has way too much killing power as is. The US m1Carbine one dosen't have a pistol, but the rest do.

Ive killed myself a lot in .5 with expacks. Id throw em on a tank and run off and hit the plundger before I was far enough away cause the tank would be turning to fire on me and I figured hey either we both die or just I die so what the hell BOOM.

Anyways, satchel charges will rock. Didnt they say they had bangalores for Omaha? I dont recall seeing any...
