I'm really excited over the new system with mines, the AP mines and mine-flags especially! just have a question though, do you have a limited amount of mine-flags? and if so, how many? And also, if you play as engineer and plant mines, when you die and respawn, will they disappear and you will have to plant new mines? or will they still be there.

I think it was said somewhere that your mines stay after you die and only get destroyed when you replace them by planting more mines..

all mines AP / AT disappear after a while when you die (i m not sure havent timed it yet but i would say 30 -90 seconds) also you can only lay a limited amount of mines if you place more than that the first placed mines get removed

You have a limited amount of flags aswell. Although you have more flags than mines, about 10 or so i think.

it would be nice to put flags everywhere to confuse the enemy :D

say, a pass is divided to AB two section , you put flags in A, and put mines in B, great trap.

yes for your teammates :D seen it many times if you try to fool your enemy like this make sure to give this information to your fellow team8ts

this is especially important for AP mines when you hide these little bugger in the grass on some chokepoints and dont tell your team = TK so place the AP mine very carefully

one of the best uses for AP mine is to mine emplacements like AT guns or mortars or even tanks since you can only enter them at their hatch doors if you mine the side with the doors the tanks is "locked" or you get a freekill :D

regarding mine flags: engineer has 3 AT mines and 5 flags the "scout" class with the AP mines has NO flags

Yes, but if I'm not mistaken, only friends, not foes, can see the flags, right?

Both teams can see the flags, and yes, you can place flags to fake the enemy, hehe. :D

LOL.. i was thinking on this

only put the flag on the gorun.. and then, camp the flag, when a Panzer IV or Crusader comes and see the flag, he will disable the mine, and then BAM HEADSHOT!

 poor crew man.. and you stolen the crusader / P IV
