err, Marder 1 - 50mm gun? Marder 2- Captured Russian Zis-30 76.2mm gun ? right
these are imperitive for early war FH - especially the french campaign.
oh, only add the artillery if FH adds a bf1918 style artillery pushing mode
Artillery that can be pushed is unrealistic because the ammo box would have to be pushed aswell..and one man cant do that. Im fine with batteries of heavy artillery.
Beast of WarNo, not a whining posts this time.......
I just wonder about some (ground) vehicles the germans used and could be really encountered and made a reputation for themselves in historic important battles and clashes, when and if they are planned to appear in FH. It is just a question, not some kind of demand. I seen models of a few of them but they never apperaed in FH yet, for wich i am a bit dissapointed ofcourse.
FH equipment like Tiger, Panther and Wespe is nice, but in reality most battles during the war were fought without these.......battles that are in FH too. Ofcourse i realize what is already in FH, and how much work it was.....and what is in, i am using it all. :)
I think though it is important we not have only light armoured Wespe but bigger and more durable Hummel self propelled artillery also. Heavy field artillery could be usefull posiotioned in main bases to give heavy artillery support on defended outposts......Early war tank destroyers are invaluable units to stop much stronger enemy tanks where germanies tanks were too weak to fight enemy tanks themselves.....
These are the vehicles i feel are missing in FH that really should be in to be historically accurate.
Assault guns/tank destroyers :
Elefant/Ferdinand - medium priority. Needed for Kursk and Italy
Hornisse - low priority. Was renamed Nashorn by order of Hitler
Nashorn - Same thing as a Hornisse,
Sturmtiger - low priority, Only 6 made
sig33i - Would be great ingame, should be medium priority
sig38 Bison - Medium priority
Hummel - Would be nice but low priority
maultier - low priority it basically does the same thing as the Hanomag Zu Fuss
leFH18 105mm - Low priority
siG33 150 mm - Medium priority
leFH 18 150 mm - Low priority
Tank destroyers :
PzJgIB - Medium priority
MarderI - Low priority
Marder III - High priority
Hetzer - High priority
Jagdtiger - Low priority, only around 72 made?
Jagdpanther - high priority
I agree with the priorities thayt Anlushac posted. All true.
I take what n0e says way too seriously
27th April 2003
'[11PzGmatyast']The Maus had 2 prototypes in total.....and they never saw combat....I think we already discussed this...they are SWoWW2 stuff...
What are you talking about everyone knows the Maus fought against the Russians at the factory they were built at! :)
Who cares if they did or didn't;) they wont be put in.
Beast Of War,
I respectfully disagree on the gun on the PzJgr.1
The vehicle was based on the PzIB but it mounted a Czech made 47mm L/43.4 A/T gun that fired a PzGr.36(t) projectile. The round could penetrate about 45mm of armor angled at 30 degrees from 500m.
I vote Anlushac: most likely to actually build a tank and know how to use it.
You are most likely correct..Or he just knows everything about every vehicle.
ManiKI vote Anlushac: most likely to actually build a tank and know how to use it.
Its not right I tell ya, Apparently its OK to read about and study WW2 vehicles but when you try to build your own amphibious AFV they call you a madman. A MADMAN!!
Its not fair.
