Can anyone help me with configuring my new microsoft wireless 'blue' mouse to bring up the tank sight? At the moment every time I try it, it performs the action the scroll bar is assigned to. i.e I try to bring up the tank sights and I get a new window-which is the default action for the mouse. I can't change it in BF1942 options for the same reason.......

this should be in the technical forum i think, but maybe an admin will move it for u.

i had a similar problem with my logitech cordless MX700 mouse, in so far as i couldn't map any of the numerous buttons into the game whatsoever. i went to the website though and there was a file to download which made it possible to do so. i don't understand the hows and why's but it does work, although occasionally at the start of a new map it "fails" and all the keys un-bind, then i have to exit the game and go and click save again in the controls panel of the original game, then it works again. so my suggestion would be to go to the help section of yr mouses company and see if they have something similar, i am betting they have. good luck.
