Very nice mr.cheese. We at Nordland appreciate your work!

I think youre pretty much all set, although there is one map that needs SS. Ramelle Nueville. The movie Saving Private Ryan, which it is based off of I beleive, used the Das Reich 2nd SS Panzer Division in the movie (I think, or perhaps their Austrain PzG regiment 'Der Fuhrer). As right now, there are honor cuffs on the default uniforms, but a strange 'X' on the collars instead of the SS.

That would be my final request, along with the SS sleeve honor cuffs for all of the skins (Nordland, Hohenstaufen, Hitler-Jugend, Das Reich, etc)

Concerning the chickenwire on helmets, I have it on good authority that it was merely an early attempt at protection from confusing or upsetting thoughts that some persons have beamed into their heads by various political figures or historical villains . The chickenwire was not very effective (after all, Hitler was able to transmit his thought-control waves into millions of Germans, turning them into zombies who were powerless to oppose him. Or so the ex-Zombies said in 1946.) Later models finally evolved into the many styles of aluminum foil Thought-Ray Reflector that is so often seen today in major urban areas. Effectiveness, alas, is little better than with the Wehrmacht model.

But to Mr. Cheese (and Brat and Hanley), I am very impressed with your work. I know why you've put so much work into details that many FHers may not notice or care about: because you care enough to get it right. We don't see much of that these days. A toast to your efforts! Prost! Skoal! Nasdrovya! Cheers! Bottoms up!

Well done, lads.

Haha, that's funny as hell Jumjum, your little story on the chicken wire, expecially the ex-nazi-zombie comment :D.

About Cheese's work, I was one that said I hardly notice these small changes. So in reflection of your comment, if it was possibly making reference to mine, though I don't notice these small details doesn't mean I don't appreciate them, I'm sure the same goes for all the other folk who also don't notice these minute changes. It's not like I don't try to, there are quiet moments in the game when I take a minute to reflect on the nice work, it's just that I'm usually busy killing, capping or dieing lol.

Yeah, it's really done to add that extra drop of atmosphere to the game. Because of this you can now kill, die and vent your anger on noob bunny-hoppers in the knowledge that your are doing it in a historically accurate (ish :p) environment...
