Im proud to present my first ever movie i made doing this week. Be the judges, i can take it. youtube.com/watch?v=mlPfLD-kLuE&fmt=18 Im awere off the killmessages and im awere of they can be removed but i think it kinda confirms that its not staged and that its from an actual battle. Im sorry iff this is the wrong place to post this but i would love to here peoples opinions good or bad. And i myself doo now its kinda liek a recruitment film but i made it that way myself cause im wery happy to be in a Tournament and i whant others to experience that aswell.
where's your movie? you should get your link fixed, man.
Its fixed now dont now why when i whanted to embed the movis into the post half the post disapeard no ider why. so a link to the best quality will have to do.
I left feedback to FHT forums, so Im not going to repeat it here. Nice movie. :)
Really good for a first movie. I would have used the tool to let messages ingame disappear, renderer.drawhud 0 or something like that. And some more moving over the map.
Herr Ober, die Rechnung bitte

I would have prefered moving scenes in the intro (first 60 seconds). On the opposite, I really liked the following drive-by scenes, and especially the starting Messerschmidts, made a really nice build-up of tense. Combat footage was cool, only thing you could have added would've been some more close-ups of infantry combat (if the trailer was not meant to be limited at ~7mins). Conclusively, a very nice attempt for a first movie, I agree with the wet-wood-feeter before me.
Nice one! :) Try making one in widescreen as Youtube now supports this. I presume you used Movie Maker? Movie Maker :- Tools :- Options :- Advanced :- Video format = NTSC. Aspect Ratio= 16:9
Yup i used Fraps/Vista movie maker and thx for all the advice so far from evrybody. Keep it comming. Dident know you cut get it to display in widescreen format it kinda did that bye itself after i completed the thing in windows media player seeing i have a widescreen myself. Just like when i start up the game it automaticly goes into wide screen, or when i display a movie. And about the moving camera filming i tryied it but most shoots i made whas kinda laggy or looked alot like it whas lagging when i watchen them afterwards so i kinda set on filming as mutch as posible with out having to move the camera to mutch. Dont now iff this is due to the version of Fraps im using or Vista movie maker. And the song kinda endet when the movie whas over so i decidet not to make it eny longer at that point seeing i thought i had covert a little off everything in my movie and somtimes theese movies can also get to long and not realy show enything at all i think i kinda got most coverd. And i kinda hade the song picked out before i even started to make the movie i just neew it would fit to a movie from that battle, and also to the fighting from that battle. I would also like to underline that i have newer ever tryied to make a movie before or at all used windows movie maker/fraps before Monday this week. and it took me around 3 days to make this movie as it is right now.
I didn't make it!
I hear you used "Requiem for a dream"'s theme. Although It is used often it still sounds good, only thing that bothered me was the other song mixed into it. Sort of sounded like two radios on at the same time.
All in all, Very nice vid.
"My first movie ever", anyone else thought about porno when you read the title? Yes, I know. I'm a terrible person.
Good movie by the way!
