I have been dying to play a world war 2 game with some FPS multiplayer combat. I have been looking at the game Red Orchestra for a long time, but I am patiently waiting for FH2 because I know it will be the better game... "Plus its Free". :D Will FH2 come out this year, or should I buy into Red Orchestra ostfront to calm my craving for Some second world war action? Thanks :cya:

It seems like no one wants to try FH anymore, is it all about waiting for FH2?

I say get BF42 for $5 and download FH. It will sure give you your WW2 fix and you will know what to expect from FH2 when it does come out... which wont be for a while btw.

Keep in mid that, even when FH2 is released, it will be a while after that before you can visit Normany, Iwo Jima, or Stalingrad. FH1 is where the most WWII action is, for now.

@stylie: who is that woman you have as an avatar?

I dont know.....RO is pretty damn fun lol, if your into realism it wouldnt hurt to buy the game

it's also a nice change from the FH, like cmon you can actually [I]lean[I] in RO something that isn't possible in bf1942 nor bf2, and the gameplay is somewhat similar to bf1942, it's not like COD where you have your deathmatch, capture the flag search and destroy type game types

although when it comes to airplanes RO doesent have any, and the tanking in RO seems really limited because of the fact that you only get this small little square to look out of, and you can't just man a tank all by yourself like you can in the bf series

RO is real campy compared to FH. No I'm not knocking it at all, it's an amazing game, but it has it's differences. Or atleast it did while it was a mod, but I haven't played the official game, my guess is certain aspects are still very much the same. It's still a great game nonetheless.

Both of these games are fairly cheap.

I USED TO PLAY FH 1942 LIKE CRAZY! AND I HAVE PLAYED RO "THE MOD VERSION", Im tired of FH1942, I played it to death and Im not crazy about the current version. I have also played RO and I love the realism aspects of it "I hope that the FH dev team takes some of those elements and puts them in FH2", but again Im tired of RO the "mod". So I was just wondering if RO the retail version would tide me over untill the release of FH2? Or will FH2 be released relatively soon so that I dont have to waste $30? Thanks for all of the replies guys! Also If I went back to FH1942.... Im sure that I would be schooling some of "YOU" :spank: Also: I prefer teamwork and its Usually hard to find in FH1942! I usually play on the Bf2 server Tactical Gamer because teamwork is required or you get kicked! By the way this server is a blast.... Try it!

Really? Strange picture--doesn't look much like her, to me.
