RO is very realistic too. But FH2 and RO will be different, the mean reasons being the engine they use and what they focus on (FH covers all types of combat, RO focusus on infatry and tanks). This automatically means both games can't implent the exact same features die to engine and gameplay reasons.
SymZThat woman is Salma Hayek. lol Not that I had anything else to add to this thread. :D
I'd like to implement a new rule on this board... No talking about or mentioning hot chick's names without postin at least 1 pic. 2 would be better though!!!
Red Orchestra is cheap, at 20 bucks, and great fun. It's very intense on most maps, and the concentration on infantry and armor gives it (for me) a very different "feel" than FH. I was playing a couple of rounds at Stalingrad last night; good stuff. Death around every corner. Teaches you to keep your head down!
I reloaded FH 1 and I have been kicking some tush ever since! Will pobably try RO when its cheaper.

Yeah I did the whole BF2 thing for about 6 months. Then I started playing FH1 again and joined a clan. Teamwork and the best FPS all in one. Have had a couple day stint with the cool BF2 mods since then but always come crawling back to FH. It kinda like crack......
Tookie16I have been dying to play a world war 2 game with some FPS multiplayer combat. I have been looking at the game Red Orchestra for a long time, but I am patiently waiting for FH2 because I know it will be the better game... "Plus its Free". :D Will FH2 come out this year, or should I buy into Red Orchestra ostfront to calm my craving for Some second world war action? Thanks :cya:
Buy BF1942 (real cheap now) and download FH! I guarantee you WON'T de disapointed!
I play it every other day. No ww2 fps even gets closer to the FH experience.
They should really do like a Free-Weekend for Red Orchestra(like for DoD) on HL2, because I don't know what it's like and I don't wanna buy it and end up not liking it..
They can't do a free week since the game haven't got all the security systems like VALVe games do, therefore making it rather dangerous to unlock it.
Well wile i wait for FH2:) I looked thrue my old CD boxes and discoverd Half-life2 (and steam) and behold lucky me a free weekend just when i installed it for DOD:S so i tryied it out it whas fun and preaty intense so i baught it after the free weekend, and they have added som objectives maps now so that makes it even funnyer, basicly maps were you have to blow up stuff, those are realy funny, and yes this will proberly keep me buissy for a wile. Sadly i cant locate my old BF1942 cd-box enymore.:uhm: And playing regula BF2 is just making me sick, i just cant stand seeing those maps enymore, im even tired of AF boosterpack already though that added some more fun, but people are already letting it down not that meny people plying it enymore. Well, I hear everyone mentioning the word "realism" when they talk about RO, but I find that there is limited realism in that game as well. there are very good first person animations, but I am a bit disappointed in their player models, which are not in correct proportion, and the animation that they chose for the non-iron sighted position in third person is absolutely dumb. (holding your gun all the way across your waist, right hand almost in pocket) Brilliant ragdolls, however, absolutely stunning, sickening, etc., etc. Gameplay wise, I disagree with the seperate tank commander/driver positions, but applaud their animations for the different positions/
