What is the diffrent betwen "name tag distance scope" and "name tag distance"? ex. WOLFS have "ntds" 45 and "ntd" 300, but FragTheNet have 100 and 50 and I think its look the same on the battlefield!

Maybe ntds defines view distance of name tags while observing through sniper rifle's scope or binoculars?

I dont think so! Because WOLFS have 300 in NTD but there is no chans you can see the name tag in that distance when you play on that server. FragTheNet have 50 in NTD and, as I said, its look the same when you playing on both servers.

Name tags should only show up for people on the same team. This will avoid friendly fire incidents but also it wont give away your position to the enemy when some noob blindly moves the crosshairs through the hedgerows.

You also knowif its a team mate in the distance if his name pops up, if a name doesn't you know its the enemy.

Is this possible to implement in FH2?

Yeah if there are gonna be friendly name tags, have them show at a distance. I've commited far too many tks because a tag didn't apear when I sighted a distant target.

Servers alrady can do that but most don't use those settings :( Knowing who you are however I hope you mean if they can have the above settings as "default" for the mod. Who knows? It would be cool.

Ok right, i've used BFRM (Battlefield remote manager) quite alot and in this, you can easily change the settings for tags. Tags are a SERVER SIDE SETTING, you cannot force FH to have preset tag distances but you can advise servers to have a certain distance.

There are 2 tag settings in Battlefield - one for allies and one for enemies (while aiming I beleive). So for instance, if the normal tag distance is set to 200m and the 'aimed' setting is set for 500m, you'll be able to see allied tags (without having to aim or look at them) above allied heads on everyone at 200m, and you'll be able to see anyone's tag at 500m if aiming and looking in their direction. Any questions?

Therefore, this means you can effectively have tags for friendlies (at any chosen distance) and set 'aimed' setting for 0m, this means you won't ever see an enemy tag.
