Hey, I've got a problem! My family will not allow internet in the house. I can only get online at the library or school. I saw the Forgotten hope mod 6.5&6.6 and was blown away! I was wondering if anyone can help a kid out and maybe send me a burned cd with FH 6.5&6.6 on it. Thanks.:(

Well, I can't help you, but suppose you could ask someone in the school to let you d/l the thing and burn it on CD?

BF1942 is a multiplayer-focused game; the singleplayer is just an afterthought. I guess it could be OK if you've never played the real meat of the game, though.

Why would anyone disallow the Internet? That just boggles my mind. My parents not only allowed it, they strongly encouraged it. The WWW is the most powerful publicly-available informational tool in human history. It should be available to anyone, anywhere. If your parents don't want you accessing certain things on the Internet, i.e. geriatric tranny midget DVDA, most ISPs offer blocking and censoring tools, often for free. The Internet is a lot bigger than porn and video games, and trying to ignore it entirely because those things exist is far too heavyhanded IMO. Then again, I'm not your parent.

Like someone else already said, a website like www.fileshack.com will offer to burn the file to a CD or DVD and mail it to you. It isn't free though.

Well, if hes not mature enough for surfing the internet by himself, then probably he shouldn´t be playing FH either.

After all BF 1942 has an age rating of 16 here in Deutschland.

Dude, I'm 20 but I still live with my parents, so I have to obey their wishes. And for MP5-killa, I live in Livonia, Michigan, USA

Most schools (At least in the U.S.) require a student to have a paper signed by parents to allow them to use the Internet at school.

Even at school I would bet it would take a while to download, and I doubt they would allow something like that for numerous reasons. :uhm:

Too bad you can't get CD orders from FileFront anymore...

Wait...you're 20....but still can't convince your parents to let you use the internet? And wait! You should have a job or something. Just save up and buy a comp, then do whatever the hell you want with it.

Otherwise...you're seriously whipped.

hmm oh great idea people, half of these are either 'try and get online anyway 'or 'dont bother with co-op'. Thats is ridiuclous.. anyway there are some sites I believe that sell copies and I think some file download sites allow things to be ordered on cd if you cannot download. (filefront for example) Co-op in fh can indeed be pretty fun because allthough the players are stupid, there not rude smacktrads who are many times also stupid (at least on pubs). Might want to check out battlefield singleplayer websiste, as they have a lot on sp stuff for bf mods and stuff about fh.
