Battlefield 1943 Battlefield 1943 The rumors and prayars of a New Battlefiled 1942 have come to truth. Battlefield 1943 will take place in the pacific arena and so far no words of a all-covering game.... (the game is going lazy EA style in other words) It's ww2 and using the same engine as BF Bad Company (which is good) So I'm hyped for more news about this game... hoping for a total ww2 game experience via FH3... Check their new website for a trailer feuturing gameplay on wake island etc. Battlefield 1943

No, I didnt pray for a new 1942. I would have been satisfied with a new engine BF or not. This is not what I wished for.

Thats it. Three maps. Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Wake Island. Whobbedoodaa.

It's ww2 and using the same engine as BF Bad Company (which is good)

Why is it good, exactly?

So I'm hyped for more news about this game... hoping for a total ww2 game experience via FH3...

Why when you have the total ww2 game experience in the form of FH2?

Such a sad panda DICE/EA.

Nothing personal towards you, Elander. But I am already frustated and tired at only imagining all those people pouring in going ape shit about this new title and how FH should port to it. Its always the same thing with each Battlefield title. :(

The Frostbite engine is a good thing imo because I love explosions and blowing stuff up. Also, this new DICE policy of making extremly detailed sound effects is great.

However, max 24 players? 3 maps? 2 nations?

wut? :(

/edit: Oh yeah, and what's up with the slightly cartoonish look (not as bad as Heroes, but still)?

Flippy Warbear;4794487Why is it good, exactly?
The possibilities on the FrostBite engine are great. I also liked the effects and destructable environment in Bad Company, Mirrors Edge is also done on FrostBite. It's an great engine.
Well it looks... colorfull...

This could have been something BUT! 24 players!! O_O It seems Dice is going backwards in time and in a few years we have only 2 players MP left like in Doom. xD

Mirrors Edge is made with Unreal 3.
