Hey guys, I've been looking at your mod for awhile now and I have to say that I'm quite impressed, and altough I never played the orginal Forgotten Hope I'll sure be playing Forgotten Hope 2 as soon as it's released. The amount of vehicles and weaponry apparently being put into FH2 is amazing, should really make great game play... And by the way, im looking into doing some concept art here fairly soon, so if you need anymore concept staff, I may be able to help, I'm very exprienced with weaponry(weapon fabrication is my line of work) and military, etc. So i'll be glade to help if needed. Over and Out. -Hoot.
Also, did some looking around, didnt find much but is there any idea on the public release of FH2
Buy BF1942 and install FH 0.7
What he said. You should be able to get BF1942 in the bargain bin for about $10-15 nowadays.
Less on e-bay.
Well from what you guys are saying, it doesn't seem like FH2's Public release wont happen for a few months, so it looks like it'll be off to get BF1942 asap, and if im correct, I want the striaght up orginal version. thanks... -Hoot.
Yeah. Personally I think Fh2 will probably be out by August or September.
'[5thLupin']Yeah. Personally I think Fh2 will probably be out by August or September.
Yikes, if thats so I'll never make it, I guess i'll definitly need BF1942 to tide me over with FH... Battlefield 2 is just to many newbs running around with machine guns, etc. Hopefully FH will be a much better expirence. I definitly willing to sacrafice graphics for gameplay... By the way, has anyone played the Offical WW2 conversion for Battelfield: Vietnam, I played it and enjoyed it much better than Vietnam, if so, how does it stack up with FH graphics wise? -Hoot.
can I see some of your weapon designs? firearm concepts is a fancy of mine as well.
McGibs, Well the shop I work at does design weapons, it's mostly refurnishing, etc. But we created and patented the Semi-Auto BAR (SLR), VZ2000, we also just patented a Semi-Auto Version of the M240 LMG. We're currently building i think 700 SLR's in the next few months, the first 15 or so just got shipped last week. We do alot of work on M240's, BAR/SLR, .50 M2HB, VZ2000 and other machine guns. But in the repair shop we handle everything from 1919A4's to MG42's... We do alot of work on all WW2 style full-auto weaponry. So I have an extremly good knowledge of WW2 era weapons... But here's a picture of a Water Cooled Colt 1928 that was refurnished awhile back where I work... -KC
As for my personal arsenal of design, for now it's paintball(launchers, refinishing old markers, etc.), im only 16. But here's a link to my old KP3 im refurnishing at work and at home. It's still in the works, so the page will be constantly updated if you're intrested in it...
crazyness. If I only had money and time and a place to play, I'd get into paintball or airsoft more. Unfortunatly, airsoft is like 200% more expensive in canada due to our retarded gun laws.
You make me green with envy being able to work so closely with firearms (i only get to oggle at pictures). I just drawr guns that I make up :(
well... you get the idea. man did I ever derail this thread...
1: Historical mods like FH rarely have any need for a conceptual artist, due to the fact that... well, everything is already been conceptualized. Though, it sounds like you have acsess to a whackload of ww2 era weaponry, and we always welcome detail photographs for modeling and skinning refrence if you can provide them.
2: FH2 is a ways away from a release. We usually give release dates a week or so in advance.
