[SBS]Jack74 has created a new FH map including the polish army: Westerplatte.
The map has no bot support.
Okay, so what do the polish have to counter the "prinz eugen" ? Can openers ?
Will there be any servers running it ?

If my memory doesn't fail me and teh map is historically accurate then they'd have stationary canons.
The Prinz Eugen is a place holder for the old battleship Shleswig Holstein. While the Prinz Eugen has more guns than the Shleswig Holstein, those are of a smaller caliber (8x20cm vs 4x28cm, I think). So thats pretty much the best german ship that they could put to use for this map in order to make Westerplatte battle what it should look like. I suppose the Poles have a few cannons to counter it, but the main thing to do would probably be to just evade going on the line of fire of the ship (this is what it should be).
Why and how would the germans sail a big battleship like Eugen through a narrow river like that?
EDIT: Read Komrad_B's post too late, for some reason I didnt even notice it at first.
Map is still in Beta stage(as far as I know),so couple of thing's will be changed: -some flag's will be removed-to eliminate amount of "hide and seek" thing -we know, that flag's that require more than one person to capture, ain't working on pubie's.Those flag's will be changed to "one person required to cap." -map will be changed to a push mode(propably) Hope we will see couple of other change's too.
Looks pretty interesting, I'll give it a download a twirl.
I just checked it, and im concerned it wont work on a public server.
-Prinz Eugen looks out of place in the river -People with AA- and Maingun- Spam the f*** out of the city -why do the polish have to capture grey flags that should be polish ground ? -Flags cappable with 3 guys, this rarely ever happens on Otolikos "Hell of bocage" and wont happen here either.
Ye, the map's in beta stage, but I've seen two polish servers running it from time to time (that's how I found out about it), plus afaik it was played yesterday on the forgotten honor practice server.
The mapper chose to use Eugen, because he doesn't know how to model new units. That 'river' is a harbor channel where Schleswig-Holstein anchored while visiting Gdansk, before the actual start of the war.
very cool, and seemingly, very historical!
