The Mk3 will be made once the aussies make an appearence, then some brit maps may be retrofitted. As of now, I'm pretty much the only guy making weapons, and I have more important items to spend time on for the first release.

AnAceLooks Nice, but No.4 Mk.1(T) could use a cheek rest. I think the No.1 Mk.3 and Pattern 14 Mk.1(T) should be made, since they were used more in the desert.

The pattern 14 would simply need that copper circle in the stock to make it an M1917 and viola, you have a new rifle for Nationalist Chinese and Early Pacific maps.

!! You're the only person?! My God... NOW I understand how busy you guys are...:bows::bows::bows::bows::bows::bows::bows::bows:

Oh also (not to turn right and around and start begging again...:D ), did you see my other question about the sights on the No.4? Just wondering, because I know in other games, it seems to be a lot more clearly defined.

well, as you can see here, the front blade isnt all that big.

no4mk1.jpeg

Part of it is covered up in my screenshot by the wood on top. All of those are just screenshots of the model, not ingame shots. The ingame iron sights will be simmilar to BF2s, using a blurred 2d rear sight, and a 3d front sight (hopefully we can get it looking like brother's in arms sights. thems is sexy)

Heres some quick mockups I did. They should end up looking something like this. exept they move around.

EDIT:

brothers in arms are more realistic with how most sights are designed. namely apature sights (like the no4 and garand) which reley on the eye putting the rear apature out of focus.

My gosh, those weapons are beautiful. Reminds me of when I was playing CoD2 North Africa Demo, handling the no4 and tommy....

Just wondering, but why is FH no4 a darker color? BF1942, MoH, and CoD no4 had a more "yellowish" color......not that it matters (I don't really care, it's beautiful as is) I'm just wondering.

2d-3d ironsights are a good idea, seems realistic to me as the front sights would be out of focus. :) I totally can't wait for this mod! PLEASE don't ever end FH2...

because for some reason, alot of games seem to like yellow No4s.

Wood yellows as the stain ages. The older and more beat up the gun gets, it usually gets more yellow. in reality, 99% of them (and pretty much all wood stocked weapons in ww2) would have more of a redish stain.
