BF1918 showed recently some new renders, one of them being a flare gun. They also said they'll be using flare guns in the mod taking advantage of BF2's dynamic lighting abilities. What does this mean for FH2? Will we see something like flare guns? BF2 doesn't have any night maps so I don't have the greatest idea of what to expect. Does this mean muzzle flashes will light up surrounding environment on night maps? Man, the idea of a tiger on a night map firing and seeing the muzzle flash, say while it's parked at the edge of a forest would be slick. Or the thought of flares in the jungle on pacific maps. :smokin: Ooh, flamethrowers... Anyhow, I thought the flare gun idea was cool, possibility for FH2?

yes would make night maps a lot funner but they could be a pick up idea with only 1 shot and flamethrowers

Now we can get those big search lights to work. On one tower they could make one "vehicle" where number 1 slot is an MG 42 and the other one is a search light. So the one in the second position is searching for enemies, lighting them up, and the other one kills them. Then the searcher will also get drivers assist.

I heard alot of people in ww2 used headlights when they where close to the enemys territorys, and also, the elit units marked there tanks softsponts with bright colors so the enemy could try to avoid hitting it!

Could you then have search lights with AA to light up planes on night maps?

Just the muzzle-flash alone would be awsome. Searchlights would be cool, too.
