Umm...I know this doesn't really have a lot to do with FH, but FH is being ported to BF2. Anyways, I read on Battlefield Single Player that there won't be any singleplayer in BF2 on the PC version, but there will be singleplayer on the console version. Okay, great, console gamers get online, but that means no singleplayer Forgotten Hope... I'm hoping this is wrong, or there is still a co-op gametype, but man, 90% of my time playing FH is spent offline with bots. This is gonna suck. But yeah...is this true? Or not? Thanks.
Well for me, I think it's better that they put more effort into the multiplayer aspect wich it's all about anyway. SP was never anything they put an effort into in the first place, the bots were pretty stupid and the campaigns kinda pointless. You'll find a whole lot better sp games out there, try hl2 (I haven't got it though).
I think they are planing to do a SP with storyboard like the games before Bf42 had, but I am sure the PC version will have SP and MP like the Bf42 one.
Not so sure, Codename Eagle had pretty crappy SP, but awesome mp, wich inspired bf42..
I never play the single player on bf1942 anyway..:)
I played single player once... it sucked!
battlefield isn't for single player. half life 2 is. nothing more needs to be said
personlly i think bf2 should and sp just incase some people cant get online.
I think it should have sp so you can practice with the maps or if no servers are up with people or kick due to ping still fun even thou bots suck.
I think you may have misinterpreted the news post at Battlefield Single Players about AI in BF2. There is definitely going to be a single player component for the console title, and by all indications I have seen, there will be a single player component for BF2. Dice claims to be putting a lot more effort into bot play in the new game.
