Ever wanted to have a screenshot you made go up on the news page? Well now here's your chance!
I'll be taking a handful of screenshots and putting them up on the page to celebrate the release of Forgotten Hope 0.65, so post them here, or post links to where you've got them hosted and we'll check them out.
remember, to take the best screenshots, go into your console (using the tilda key on most computers) and type "hud 0" minus the quotes. (To reenable your hud type "hud 1").
That's about all their is to it. We encourage the highest resolution possible, but 1024X768 should work out ok, if you can get higher resolution than that go for it!
Cool ! But how many screenshots are we allowed to post by person ? :D
Here is mine, I took them on a 64 player servers, great battle on this map :
Turning on FSAA and AF would help make those screens a lot nicer. Not referring to the screens above this, but in general.
Third person view can turn on good aswell =)
Purdy neat Ill submit a few Moses
Here are a couple:
I started a FH screenshot folder, but I can't post links yet so copy and paste this: http://www.prdfiles.com/fhscreens/
What do you use to take in game pictures. I think there is a picture function in the game but i cant remeber? How you turn on aa and asf or what ever?
Simply press the Print Screen button on your keyboard while in-game, then head to \EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\ScreenShots in your directory where you have BF installed and you will find the shots there. I suggest using Ifranview for opening and converting the shots.
Turning AA and AF on:
Right click your desktop, choose properties. Head to Settings, advansed. There you should find DirectX and OpenGL, if you click on one of them you will see Anti-Anliasing (AA) and Anti Filtering (AF) inculded there. Mark them and choose the performance (2x, 4x etc.). Finding AA and AF this way might be different if you are using different drivers, but basically this is the comon way.
Turning AA and AF on is only recommended if you have a high end screencard, otherwise the screencard would most likely not handle it.
